http://www.boxingscene.com/froch-maybe-degale-clev-groves-super-6-kessler--39252 In this article, Froch states that a potential DeGale/Groves fight is a real possibility in the near future.
Who would your money be on? I like Froch as a fighter alot, but have come to really appreciate DeGale's talent and the cocky, but positive attitude he shows towards his capabilities and would favor DeGale over Froch. Being a QPR fan does help alot too.
There are still some question marks for me over De Gale's defense. I'd have to wait til closer to the time to come down strongly on that one.
True, we need to see how James does once he's hit solidly on the chinny chin chin, but i have every faith he's got a granite chin.
Froch beats DeGale. Come on man peeps: DeGale is a fucking NOVICE at this point and is a long way from reaching the level that Froch has been fighting for the last three years. MTF
Im confident his chin is good; less so about his defense. He's been hit by flush shots from bums and Im not sure if thats just a concentration/over relaxation thing or something more systemic. Im still a believer just not an unreserved one. For me the question isn't whether he makes world class, just how far he goes from there.
Froch will be long retired by then. If he hangs around much after the Super Six (finally) reaches a conclusion I'd be very surprised. MTF
The guy will be 34/35 by the time you lot are talking about. That's fairly fucking old in boxing terms. He's already said that 'I'm no longer fighting for the money', so I reckon he might just pack in if/when he next loses. MTF :dunno:
It's actually not that old these days. I honestly think with modern training/nutrition and everything else, miles on the clock is just as important. The #2 or 3 fighter in the world, Martinez, is 36. Guys like Frock are very much a young 33, compare him to Morales for example, who is an OLD 33, and it's really just down to boxing miles.
