Just as it says on the tin. I feel very sorry for young Nathan.

He's pulled out due to an eye injury and now could be stripped of WBO title.

Is the title vacant now? Doesn't the opponent have to be top 10 ranked or something?

Cant see any justification for stripping a guy for injuring an eye. Bullshit. Maybe they had their hearts set on Cleverly being a more $legitimate$ champion.

Hut, are we scrapping any cleverly predictions now, even if he still fights someone else?

Or maybe because it's the second time this year (all 4 1/2 months of it) that Braehmer has pulled out of a championship bout during fight week.

This is the 3rd fight in a row he has cancelled the week before the fight with "back pain", "food poisoning" and now a "cut". Why wouldn´t you strip him?
Braehmer has a history of doing this.

It´s the 3rd fight in a row. He also pulled out of a fight with Lakatos last year.

Wow I stand corrected. I thought it was "just" his second. Didn't realize it extended one fight deeper.

Curious to know if Warren knew all along. the funny thing was, the fight I expected to fall apart was Chunky-Groves.

Poor EPIX - second time they invest in a fight, neither time producing the desired result.

Against Lakatos he pulled out 48 hours before the fight, because he injured his back in sparring.

In 2009 he called off a fight with Rubin Williams two weeks before the fight, because he was busted open on New Year´s Eve.

The record must be Pablo Nievas in 2008, when he pulled out 24 hours before the fight due to personal problems. Universum released a press statement saying a family member was very sick.

I´m sure there is more, that I can´t remember or find.

Cleverly-Bellow is a mismatch IMO. Quite simply Nathan is world class, Tony isn't.

I'd agree, the gulf in experience is huge..but at such short notice, this would work for me..fuck braehmer, the guy has been nothing but a disappointment since the overhyped knob turned professional

Oh, don't get me wrong; as a late substitute, Bellow is better than most. I was just really looking forward to the original fight because I fancied Braehmer to give Nathan a good examination. Bellow, on the other hand, is going to get a going over.

He´s done. The WBO will strip him. He just screwed over with Germany´s biggest tabloid, who were selling a livestream for €2.99 on their website and now have to refund all. He´s already blacklisted on all TV stations.

I wonder, if he was trying to renegotiate again. Still haven´t seen a pic of that cut, but apparently Universum has also lost all contact with the Western world.

It was kinda cute, that when Brähmer didn´t show up on Tuesday, that Warren really thought he´d show on Wednesday and sent a car to the airport.

It will a pretty bruising battle between nathan and tony. Cleverly will be too good for bellew, but bellew does hit pretty hard.

I've goit to say, now it's cleverly v bellew, i'm actually looking forward to this one ALOT more than beaehmer v cleverly. Bit of needle between the two.

Two big fights where both boxers don't like each other.

A look at Bellew, if some have yet to see the lad in action.

    This was a great fight.

The re-match may still go ahead in July.
