Round six was DeGale's. Landed a couple of decent shots and is starting to make Groves lead a little. MTF
Groves won the 7th. Watt is trying to create another controversy here. At times Groves reminds me of Vitali with his sheer awkwardness and jerkiness.
Groves is looking tired. DeGale's allot more relaxed which'll probably pay down the stretch. De Gale sure as shit ain't a future p4per though. Ain't got it.
Seventh was Groves'. DeGale starting trying to come forward again and largely go picked off for his troubles. If Groves had some power he'd be a very decent prospect IMO. 5-2 Groves MTF
Hate to be the kind of guy that says I told you so, but I told you so Like I said before, I was honestly bemused by how highly you and Slicey rated him.
Like Pirog, I just enjoyed watching his style so much I saw what I wanted to. Similar fighters with similar shortcomings.
Most of these rounds are very close, I'm giving them to Groves because I think he's controlling the pace and landing cleaner shots.
See, in the context of really close fights with allot of close, nothing rounds like this I always think there's a justification for scoring a big round like that 10-8.
Best round of the fight by miles and DeGale won it clear. Threw more punches in three minutes than in the entire fight up to that point and landed plenty. Groves hurt quite badly late on in the round. Both cut in a clash of head. 5-3-1 Groves MTF
