Coming in the mail tomorrow from Netflix. Anyone seen it? Was it worthy of it's Best Picture nomination?
From an acting perspective, it doesn't get much better than Annette Benning as the non-lipstick, zero estrogen, lesbian in this flick.
I actually enjoyed this movie quite a bit. I can't say I agree that that Julianne Moore is attractive at all, but the movie was good. I felt that Ruffalo got kind of a raw deal in the end, but I guess he made his bed.
I like Mark Ruffalo, underrated actor, though I guess that's changing now with his OScar nom and all.
Same here. It's a shame about his brother. Some of his better movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Shutter Island My Life Without Me Just Like Heaven Zodiac In The Kids Are All Right I sort of got the impression that he was causing a rift in the relationship of the entire family and Julianne Moore's character, knowing this, made the conscious decision to use him knowing that it would result in his exile. Looks like he'll be playing Bruce Banner in the upcoming Avengers movie.
