Which active Super Middleweight would you give a great chance of beating Calzaghe?

Ward is the obvious pick, the rest aren't on Calzaghe's level at all imo.

    Not Irish, that's for sure.

Calzaghe would have beaten Ward. He is strong, quick and displays Taff-Wizardry and the Ring Brains of David Lloyd George. He is a cut about that Oakland shit.

Calzaghe would beat Ward but we'd have to take everybody's word for it afterward as nobody would stay awake through that fight.

Ward is the obvious answer, though I think Joe beats hime 8 times out of ten at worst. Froch is a terrible style-matchup: Calzaghe butchers him. I agree with Jake that Bute is just a poor-mans Calzaghe and loses. The rest are nowhere near good enough.

Are we talking prime Calzaghe or the Calzaghe of now ??? Prime Calzaghe, I think Ward and maybe Froch could give him a run for his money but he would be a very solid favorite. If he makes a comeback now, I think he gets beat up by Kessler, Froch, Ward and possibly Bute too ( who knows how good Bute is ) EDIT : and Dirrell too.
