terry norris is about to have a fund raiser for boxers with his condition. obviously the man's motor skills were affected by boxing. anyone here care to contribute to the non profit organization of their cult hero?

About 7-8 points higher than his chin, and 12 points higher than his ability to follow the rules.

That scale is for good punchers, not Terry Norris.

Norris could crack... Not a huge puncher, but certainly excellent... I voted 8... I look at this a bit like the richter scale... 10 is for the Shaverses, Fosters and Jacksons of the world... 9 is for the Dempseys, Louises, Arguellos etc... Norris is a 7 or 8 type of hitter, where the very good punchers reside

Yep I have him down at 8 myself. He could hit. He took Taylor out with clean, fast shots early. Chavez, who could hit, beat Taylor down, but Norris beat him out. Norris was still not a massive "ONE-HITTA-QUITTA" as they say but he was potent and chilling nonetheless.

Could it be rated above long-lost brother Chuck's roundhouse kick?

Those two have to be related, with power like they possessed. Terry Norris was savage.

definitely... Norris could hurt guys quite a bit... it wasnt just the speed... if it were all about speed, Mel Taylor would have knocked out everybody in sight... Norris had speed AND power

Norris could punch. He wasn't a Jackson or Hearns lights out type hitter, but he could definitely punch.
