I think Wlad is capable of stepping on the gas and getting him out of there within 5, but I don't think he'll do that

I think he plays it safe (unfortunately) and Haye gradually realizes that his mouth has written a check that his body can't cash and basically goes into survival mode

WLAD UD12 in a fight where he could win KO5 if he really went for it

 

It's possible, I just hope Wlad doesn't come out and do something stupid like go all wild and open.

 

I think he could jab and fight conservative and then gradually open up a bit each round... I firmly believe that when Haye tastes a hard right hand, he will want no more and will cease taking chances

 

Haye is leaving for Germany only tomorrow {Sunday} :dunno:

my prediction is the same as always when a klitschko fights. i predict i wont watch (unless i hear haye has won by brutal KO)

 

I think most likely Haye will taste the jab and get scared and run. He will get stopped in 6 or so

But I HOPE he just comes out and stretches wlad in 30 seconds! Maybe he'll catch the German giant cold and get him out!


I order for Haye to win he needs to
1. Avoid shots
2. Land shots

 

Wlad probably wins, but he wins only because of his reach, size and power, so any esult counts as a p4p victory for Haye (correct, loadedgloves?)

 

If Wlad lands hard jabs and a solid right he might stretch Haye

If wlad comes in cold and Haye comes out fast, he may stretch

The winner of this fight needs to land punches and not get laid out
Whoever gets stretched will lose

 

btw the hype has been pretty good, imo. tactically i think Haye has little chance but I am looking foward to this fight... mostly because of his mouth and the appearance that he has gotten under Wladimir's skin. Just watched the HBO Face off. Good stuff

Yes. Over the last few weeks I have slowly but meticulously identified a correlation between getting stretched and losing. I don't want to say too much as this observation is still in its infant stages.

 

i think haye has annoyed wlad, not enough to get him out of his gameplan, but enough to put some extra mustard on his punches when he is about to finish haye off in the second half of the fight.

I've never said anything even remotely resembling that statement. Exaggeration as a form of sarcasm works best when you're actually working with a perspective that's been made by the person you're addressing, eg:

Watt has also been taken in to a degree however, one of Watt's favourite claims is that Wlad has no confidence in his own chin. Ok. Fine. How much confidence does Haye have in his own chin???

Wlad does best when he sees his opponent as a threat. Like Lennox Lewis before him.

He didn't see Sanders or Brewster as threats and he was careless. I think he respects Haye enough to be badass in this fight.

 

having said all of that....Wlad going down from a sneaky Haye right hand wouldn't surprise me in the least.
