Good stuff. Atlas has utterly wasted enough of his time.

I hope he has an eliminator fight, wins, then hopefully faces wlad. I can see him doing well, but just feel wlad will be too strong and povetkin running out of gas and end up either getting ko'd or stopped.

I have faith in povetkin tho.

    Battleship Povetkin.

Well.....more of a tubby tug-boat, puntering about the harbour with Cappin' Scarface himself.

Atlas would confuse Lassie. Atlas would mind-fuck Skippy. He would have the Littlest Hobo fluffing his lines. Make Greyfriars Bobby forget where his Master was buried.

It would serve him right to have to fight another eliminator, but I hope he doesn't have to. He already has the qualifying win, even if it's stale. Having to fight Chagaev would be particularly harsh, but it would be a good fight. They are very similar fighters.

chagaev is done since his liver issue due to hepathitis. Potvetkin crush him

I'm not saying povetkin beats wlad, but he'll have more success than haye did in landing more telling punches

Yes but he will pay a horrific price on the way in. Chambers busted his face up and that fat mess that was destroyed by Ibragimov actually dropped him.

Based on what? Being slower; having a shorter reach; or being a lighter puncher?

My liking of povetkin gives me hope he would do well vs wlad for a majority of the fight, swarming wlad, but I also think if povetkin can't get a good start, wlad picks him off easily

Based on (probably) being a better fighter with better timing.

Tired of waiting? Funny, he could have had the fight already, Atlas wouldn't let him.

He bitched out of the Press Conference and we had Wlad vs Peter II.

    Maybe....Maybe not.

It's difficult to tell based on the litany of nobodies he's wasted time fighting since he bailed on the fight with Wladimir.

Wasted time fighting them and still managed to look like heated-up faeces doing so.

He faced good comp when he was in Germany. He even fought Muhammad Ali when he was in Germany. Chris Byrd, Estrada, Eddie Chambers, Larry Donald, nothing massive but all good solid tests for a guy with so few pro fights. Now he just looks like shit versus shit.

Agree 100%.. Except for the misspelling of 'feces' but that's cool too.

    Good point!

It's funny, I never had any real desire to visit England until learning the ancestry thing. Now it's the only place that makes sense to visit.
