Brandon Rios vs Corrales

I'll go out on a HUGE limb and predict that this would be a violent fight.

 

hard to say since we have yet to see just how much rios can take. i do think castillo would have fucked rios up.

 

I agree one of both accounts.

I'll say this much...... after the Peterson fight I would have said prime Corrales slaughters Rios within 5.

Now..... its looking alot harder to call.

Granted.... Corrales would have stretched Antillion within 3, just as Bam Bam did.

 

Unless Rios proves to be one of the toughest fighters of the modern era, I would pick Chico.

Quite simply no one stands in front of a prime Chico and wins. Rios is just too hittable.

both of whom would have put a terrible asskicking on Corrales

 

Come on, that's a given, Duran is not only the best fighter ever but the hardest aggressive fighter to hit in boxing history.

I'm talking about most fighters that stand in front of you that are obviously hittable enough, such as Rios.

Even Chavez would need to be a lot more defensive than normal against Chico. Corrales has freakish power and that left hook especially just came out of nowhere, so hard to see it coming. Had no visible startup and could generate ridiculous power in about 6 inches.

 

And a guy that nearly turned the trick and did it a rematch who Chico actually fought.

 

If Chavez could walk through the power of Rosario.... he'd do the same to Corrales.

Rosario's right hand was more devestating than Chico's hook.

I love Chico..... but he'd be basically a pick em with Ray Mancini.
