Who would you pick in a fight between 37th of 2011 against 45th of 1912?

37th of 2011 is a better fighter but 45th of 1912 is a bad style matchup for 37th.

these top 50 lists always make you question a division... does any division have 50 real good fighters to rank? It's always bad looking and seeing Michael Grant, David Tua and Shannon Briggs in the top 25. 10-15 years ago these guys were in the top ten.... and imo it was warranted and they were all 3 better fighters 10-15 years ago.

all I can go on is top ten lists, they are the only rankings i have ever saved or remembered so looking at the top ten here: Both Klitschko's are top notch fighters, Adamek is not an excellent heavyweight but an excellent cruiserweight, David Haye? i guess we shouldn't even talk about him anymore. Chagaev is solid but unspectacular imo. Helenius, Povetkin, Arreola, Thompson are some of the most average fighters to compose a top ten i have ever seen in the heavyweight division's history at least going back to the 1960's

Good point. 45th of 1912 had that sneaky left hook that might spell trouble for the likes of 37th and 43rd

Boxing does completely blow right now in all divisions

HOWEVER, when you are going 50 deep in ANY era you are going to start seeing some names who couldn't hope to beat anyone in the top 20

Forget the top 50, the top 10 alone is atrocious.

Also, Irish, aside from already being an obvious homo, you're a fucking moron if you think that league sports haven't greatly reduced the ranks of potential heavyweight stars in the US.

Go relieve your tension with this

Vitali has a slight glint in his eye.

All knowing, but not ready to share his secrets................not yet anyways.

Wlad looks a little too happy to be at the front of the line.

A 40-year-old Vit Klitschko is considered by some to be the best in the division, & is unquestionably no worse than #2.

Thats as depressing as it gets. Not one moment in history would this be the case. Not even in the 80s.

Blow it out of your jaxy mate.

Michael Moorer would have lost to him. The fat Forty-Ish Foreman would have lost to him.

Hell of an era that must have been.

Cruiserweight and drugs cheat Evander Holyfield, former WBO 175lb Champ Mike Moorer, Fatty Foreman, Bruce Seldon and Joe Hipp, people falling over in front of leg-iron mike, ears being bitten off....

No no, see, I don't think you quite get it.

A man doing a sexy shoot for a ladies mag? Ego trip perhaps, a desperate attempt to broaden his appeal - sure. It's hardly the most dignified endeavour in the world, but cool, have at it.

2 men doing a homoerotic shoot together, presumably for Attitude or something? Hey, whichever way you swing, I won't judge as long as it isn't swinging at me.

2 fucking BROTHERS getting naked, oiled up and frolicking around in the nude together? Again.....what was everybody involved thinking?:tick:

Holyfield, Moorer, Lewis & Bowe would all beat this Vitali today in 1994.

seriously, what Haye did is queer

what the brothers did goes so far beyond that, it's insane

How is Irish so oblivious to that difference?

Oh...which version of Holy, he had around 20 versions at any given time, depending on how big the hole in his heart was, how many vitamins over the limit he was, how late the Balco Van had been, etc.

Bowe? Bowe loses to Vitali. Bowe couldn't even win a jabbing contest with that arse clown Golota.

Lewis, I can live with that.

Moorer beat Vitali??? No. Sorry. This is false.
