Anybody Checked Out the "Twilight" Series of Films, Based on the Novels???...Mostly "Chick FLICKY", but Fairly Entertaining Nonetheless... REED:dancingBaby:
Reed, they are fucking awful. I watch them with my teenage daughter when they come on HBO, and we make fun of them Mystery Science Theatre style. ::
But Yet U Guys WATCH Them, Right???...Thus There's Gotta B SOME Entertainment Value...REED's Watched them w/his 12 Year Old... REED:Lok:
What's the Big Deal, Fellas???... Sure it's SAPPY as Shit but the Whole Love Triangle btwn the Chick, the Vampire & the Werewolf is Pretty ORIGINAL, Isn't it???...The "Special Effects" R Absolutely AWFUL, but REED's Spent 2 Hours Doing WORSE than Watching a "Twilight" Flick... Just like REED Confessed to Actually LIKING a Miley Cyrus ("Party in the USA"), REED's Gotta Admit the Twilight Series has Been Alright... REED:hammert:
:giggle: I was going to make a similar thread a few weeks ago...after watching all three movies....#1 was shit...the #2 one was complete garbage...#3 wasn't so bad...:scared2:
Well of course, because there's entertainment in watching really bad movies if you're in the right frame of mind for it.

REED Actually Thinks the Chick (Bella) Should Hook Up w/the Werewolf (Jacob), as Opposed to the Vampire (Edward)...But if She Follows Thru w/the Marriage, Jacob's Gonnna Go APESHIT...Or WOLFshit, as the Case May B... The Trailer Looks Pretty Good... REED:hammert:
How long have these vampires been in fucking High School............and WHY are they still in High School when they look like they're in their mid to late 20's? They should just get their GED's and go to technical school or something. Learn a fucking trade. athetic:
Yeah, there's a PLETHORA of Gratuitous Male Frontal, Upper Body Nudity in the Twilight Flicks...Jacobs Got a Nice....Uuuuh...RACK??? REED:scratcher::dunno:
Yeah, there's TONS of Inconsistencies in the Flicks...The Biggest is the Whole Werewolf Metamorphosis...The Guys Walk Around Shirtless, w/Pants & SHOES On, yet when they Become Werewolves, they DON'T have Pants or Shoes On...But When they Change BACK to Human Form, There's the Pants & Shoes Again...REED Isn't Requesting Any Schlong Footage or Anything, but it's an INCONSISTENCY...The 1 Chick Werewolf Goes Back to Being FULLY Clothed when She Becomes Human Again... Sometimes the Old Indian Guy is In a WHEELCHAIR, Sometimes he ISN"T...REED SWEARS he's Even Seen the Motherfucker WALKING:scratcher:... Edward Became a Vampire @ 17, but the Guy PLAYING Edward HAS to B Damn Near 30...& Like U Said, the Other "High School Aged" Vampires Look MID 20's @ the Youngest... REED:notallthere:
If I had been drinking I would've spit it up. Funny stuff. I am like you, I enjoy the movies. I saw the first one when I was in Africa by chance. Nothing else was playing. Had zero expectations and was pleasantly surprised. I'd rather watch these any day over the Harry Potter movies.
To B CLEAR, REED's Never Read a Single Page OR Sentence from ANY of the Novels these Flicks R Based on...The Movies R Mildly Surprising Though... REED:Lok:
Yeah, GUYS R Gonna have to ACCIDENTLY See the Flick OR have a Female in their Lives that DEMANDS they See it... The Indian/Wheelchair Thing is DISTURBINGLY Inconsistent... REED:Lok:
I am reading the last book now. They plan on making two shows out of it. The book is over 700 pages long.
I'm almost embarrassed that I know this, but SHOWTIME actually owns the rights to the series. It's the only reason my daughters care about Showtime :: I'm with REED... when these first came out. I left it up to my wife to take them to watch it. Had no interest whatsoever. but when they "forced" me to watch the first one... whenever it came out on DVD... I didn't mind it. Not something I'd stop to watch on my own, but I've honestly seen worse movie/TV with my daughters. I've only seen one in the movies, whichever the last one was. I took out my girls for daddy/daughter night, and happened to be around the time when it came out. I knew it'd wind up being that. Had to laugh when everyone in the theatre shrieked the moment Jacob appeared. Made me realize I was probably the only guy there. Also laughed at women in their 30's and 40's wearing "Team Jacob/Team Edward" gear. Anyway, not the worst series in the world as long as you don't take it too serious.
Any man who deliberately goes out of his way to see a Twilight film (as opposed to having to watch it on a plane or whatever) is a queer! ::
REED's a TEAM JACOB Guy Even Though He's Probably Gonna PURPOSELY Violate the Vampire-Wolf Treaty in this Next Film.... REED:Lok:
....OR he Could have Children, DAUGHTERS in Particular...If U Want to Have a RELATIONSHIP w/your Daughter(s), Sometimes U have to LISTEN TO &/or WATCH Things U Otherwise WOULDN'T, Homey... The World we Live in is More GRAY than Black or White... REED Likes Some Disney Channel Type of Movies Too (Sky High, Camp Rock I & II, Mr. Troop Mom, etc.)....Does that Make REED CHILDISH??? REED:Lok:
You're just trying to be the world's coolest Dad, REED! Good job!:clapagain: I like that you're rediscovering your youth too and it's also quality time spent with the kids. BTW, Twilight series isn't bad. I was watching stuff like that when I was a kid. Not sure why adults crap all over stuff like this as if it's the worst thing ever even despite that they themselves were loving this stuff when they were younger. I actually still watch Sesame Street.:scared2:
Hell no. You do what you wanna do REED. Don't listen to these chumps on here. I love clean wholesome family entertainment too. We were all kids once so it's totally cool to just enjoy stuff which we loved in our youth. I still love watching Tom & Jerry, Popeye, Bugs Bunny, etc. I actually bought the DVDs for those. I don't give a damn about other asshole adults talking crap. They got no lives anyway.
