I'm not watching this based on it has Gina freakin Carano as the lead actor and the plot is ridiculous.

 

First, it looks half way decent and I would pay to see Gina read the newspaper personally.

That being said, doesn't her ass-kicking, secret agent bullshit come to a screeching halt if Christine Cyborg Santos shows up.

 

Man being the correct term to describe Cyborg.

 

:laughing: Come on Godfather! Angelina Jolie's movie goes to the big screen and makes millions. Gina Carano's movie goes straight to the bargain bin at Wal-Mart. Doesn't matter if she can f*ck people up or not. She can only beat those useless little no-talent bitches anyway. In this movie she's beating up dudes twice her size. Almost as stupid and ridiculous as Shannon Lee (Bruce Lee's daughter) taking on 4-5 big powerful dudes by herself.:atu:

When people post threads on here, they do so because they want to know the opinions of others. That's the whole point of a message board. It's why we spend so much time out of our day on this board, Godfather. If you didn't care, why post it here? Why not just keep it to yourself? ::

As for Gina, good looking and all but a top MMA superstar? Based on what? Who has she beaten? She's famous for being the only half-decent looking chick in a sport where women's MMA is still in its infancy. She's as talented as Peter McNeely in a class where the opposition are part-time fighters who work real jobs. Let's face it. She's famous because of her nice plump ass and charm and looks. That's about it. Her fights were set-ups against nobodies and she was a moneymaker for StrikeForce at the time. She wasn't a good fighter as Cyborg proved.

I hope Gina makes it in Hollywood but it's a very tough egg to crack. I guess as long as she's making money kicking men in the balls on screen as opposed to having to fight Cyborg and get her ass kicked again, she should be happy.

 

All that said, in real life she submits Jolie in under 30 seconds.

Although I wouldn't be shocked if she locked on a leglock and tapped Cyborg either. That said...I don't want to see it.

 

She looks fucking hot in that pic, and I have seen her in person in fighting shape and she was hot.

 

Yeah that's Kyra Gracie..she's supposed to be signing with SF soon. I figure she'll win a ton because she's one of the few females with actual skills and whatnot.






Plus look at that figure! That's a real woman....not a fatty lush.

 

With zero MMA experience, it is impossible to say how Gracie will do. But I'm with TLC, I hope she is allowed to gain some MMA experience before being thrust into fights with the handful of good female fighters.

It seems to me, and I'll admit shamefully that I follow female MMA closely, that striking is very difficult for the girls to pick up. I've seen very few women in pro MMA that have even decent boxing.

So, great grappling and BJJ can carry her a long way in MMA. Fujii is a perfect example. And I assume she will probably rip off a nice win streak like Fujii as most women won't have near the tools necessary to combat her BJJ.

I know the weight she normally competes at in BJJ, but any idea about MMA?
