I'd take great pleasure in watching a young Shane beat the living fuck outta Timmy the head, before knocking him out.

Timmy's only chance would be to butt and cut Shane early, and have the fight called a NC.

Timmy is out gunned by prime Shane in every way. Speed, power, size, strength, skills(Bradley's skills are overrated), chin, all go to Shane.

He couldnt outbox Shane because he has the shorter reach, and Shane was considerably faster. And he DAMN SURE couldnt trade with Shane.

I'd love to see it! Fuck Bradley!

If Shane was the same at 140, as he was at 135(chances are he'd be better) then I struggle to see how ole Timmy lasts the distance.

Shane wins, but he's still overrated as fuck

his comp at 135, where he was rehydrating up to 145 every time, was positively ordinary

That said, he's better than Bradley

Prime Shane is actually pretty UNDERRATED nowadays. And you've been around this forum long enough to know Ive NEVER been a particularly big Mosley fan.

He was a great fighter, and a special talent.

In the same class as Hopkins, Jones, Whitaker, ect? No, but great none the less.

He wasnt just "better" than Bradley. Timmy isnt in Shane's class at ALL.

Much as I hate DLH..... Oscar(the version that Shane beat) would have skull fucked Bradley in under 6 rounds.

Man, he was never a great fighter... he was a good, athletic fighter who had the number of a better fighter... He was one-dimensional and something of a front runner... couldn't fight off the back foot to save his life....

Shane had Oscar;s number but Oscar was the better fighter, and I thought he won the rematch anyway... Hoya crushed some of the same guys Mosley either struggled against or failed to dominate... and he'd have crushed Bradley for sure

Shane beats Bradley pretty fuckiong clearly, Im not saying any different... I'm just saying he's no great fighter

It happened both ways though, Mosley crushed John John Molina easily. I agree Oscar was the more versatile but all in all as fighters they were very close to each other. Mosley was one of those guys who declined pretty early, because in his prime his fighting was strongly based on his reflexes and quickness which are first things to go, especially for a fighter who abuses his body the way Mosley did.

but Mosley fought Molina several years later

Mosley had a handful with Wilfredo Rivera, again, well after Hoya had absolutely dominated him from start to finish

Mosley struggled to get rid of the far smaller Jesse James Leija, years after Hoya had pancaked him in two round leaving Leija so impressed that he said "He punches incredibly hard, he should be a middleweight"

Mosley had lots of trouble with Ricardo Mayorga... Oscar made it look easy

I can't see Vernon Forrest beating Oscar

I've always thought the opposite. I always saw vernon outboxing Oscar. Vernon could handle boxers, it's the brawlers he had trouble with...especially prior to his layoffs and shoulder problems.

Forrest wouldn't have knocked oscar down or badly hurt him but he would have won a decision. espcially during the time frame we're talking about in 2001 or so...Oscar was still pretty much a one handed fighter at that time.

I'd cum on myself if Timmy the head got KTFO that brutally.

Did you see Holt vs Bradley? I cannot for the life of me see Bradley take Mosley's lefthook flush on the chin.

Holt lit Tim's ass up twice with that shot. if he weren't a mental midget he could have finished Tim off.

Bradley can't stop left hooks...never sees them coming.

I agree, but I think you are overrating Mosley's punch, based partially on his blowout of a guy who absolutely sucked balls

Bradley would have beaten the dogshit out of Stone

    It's a mixture...

I don't believe Tim has a good chin.

Freddie Roach said it best...he's known Shane for years and saw him coming up as an ammy and young pro...he always said Shane was a special fighter and I believe that to be true.

I've always maintained we don't know how good Shane could have been if he'd left his dad when he was let's say 22 or 23. There's no telling how much better defensively and offensively he could have been.

With that said...he demolishes a guy like Bradley solely because Tim walks to him and more importantly Tim doesn't see the shots coming as he's running in.

Shane tears those kinda guys up.

bradleys chin is solid and he is a very tough guy who is in great shape. i see no evidence he would easily be KOd by anyone around today. his defense is not poor either. holt is a big time puncher who hit bradley with his best shots flush and the dude got up to win the fight.

mosley-bradley would more than likely end in a technical decision due to butts.
