I'm really looking forward to this card. Jim Miller versus Ben Henderson is one of the best match-ups of the year. And Chris Lytle-Dan Hardy should be a stand up war. Jim Miller is likely just a win away from putting himself in line for a title shot at 155. The dude is 20-2 with his only loses coming at the hands of Edgar and Maynard. Meanwhile, Henderson is the former WEC Champion and one of the most dynamic fighters in the weight class. Lytle and Hardy are both coming off of disappointing loses. Lytle was working his way up the 170 pound ladder before being derailed by Brian Ebersole his last time out. Hardy, the one-time 170 pound title challenger, is on a 3-fight losing streak. The heavy handed slugger likely needs a big win to remain in the UFC. Both guys prefer the stand-up game. Lytle is a former pro boxer and will likely be the better technical striker. Hardy; however, has knockout power in both hands. This card is on free TV and is a better overall card than last weekend's PPV. The two main fights will be good for sure. I like this card better than the garbage Tito vs Rashad card.
Im really looking forward to that Miller/Henderson matchup. Should be interesting, could really go either way.
I can't believe at this point in his career Ludwig can make a main card. This guy just tapped to Lyle Beerbohm less than a year ago(maybe just over a year) from a fuckin headlock. Sure they gave it a nice name "School yard choke", all it was is a fucking headlock you used to put on your little brother.:wack:
Love that Avatar brother. Keep in mind, it's the main card of a Versus card. It's basically a WEC level card. Nevertheless, you gotta think Ludwig is fighting for his UFC life. And Sadollah is no joke.
hardy is terrible. lytle is wild but landing plenty. hardy's clearly hurting from accumulation of body shots.
:: Hardy. Such a scrub. War Lytle! Good luck in retirement. Dude's 37 years old, was only a matter of time before the sport retired him. So impressive the guy fought like a madman his whole career and never got KO'd in over 50 fights.
Great card of fights. Sad.... Lytle has been one of my favorites since TUF. He goes out as a top 10 welterweight in my opinion. Great hands. Great BJJ. And a chin of steel. Funny, but Henderson and Cerrone have been more impressive than Showtime since coming to the UFC. Miller is a well-rounded animal and Ben just battered him. I think Miller screwed up in the first round trying hard to get that standing triangle. He gassed his arms and gave Henderson top position. Nevertheless, I can't wait to see both Henderson and Cerrone again.
Poor Miller. One fight away from a title shot and he gets TROUNCED. I just got to see the fights last night.
Cerrone just manhandled Oliveira. It looked like man against boy near the end. And did anybody see the undercard fight: Ed Herman against Kyle Noke? DAMN, make sure you tap to those reverse heelhooks, that's all I gotta say. Herman deserved submission of the night. That was just NASTY.
