    EXCELLENT "Friday Night Fights" Bout!!!...

Brewer's the Quintessential Prospect LITMUS TEST, just Ask Jermain Taylor, Anthony Thompson, Sechew Powell and Most Recently, Fernando Guerrero...Andrade's Been Criticized for Dining on a SOFT Diet of Opponents, but that All CHANGES Tonight...

1 Way or the Other, we'll Learn SOMETHING about Demetrius Andrade...

But most likely he won't; he'll most likely lose a decision, given he's 40 years old and not too good to begin with.

Yep. He's fighting Hank Lundy, and Lundy is talking a bunch of shit. I'm not sure I have ever seen Lundy fight. Is he any good?

I'm not sure either. He has a good record, but who knows.

I looked him up and his one loss is to John Molina. He fought and defeated Patrick Lopez for the NABF title. Problem is, I don't know anything about Lopez either.

We have no idea if Andrade can take a shot. I'm not convinced Andrade can hit.

Just a thought...say if Andrade gets KTFO...considering how awful his opponents have been will his management say they rushed him or need to go back to the drawing board?

Grady Brewer is NOT a Bad Fighter by Any Stretch...He Got a VERY Late Start in Boxing & LITERALLY Learned the Sport on the Fly...

Brewer's Given MORE than Enough So-Called "Hot Prospects" TOUGH Fights to ESCAPE Any "Not too Good to Begin with" Labeling, Doub...Will he Ever B a WORLD Champion???...DOUBTFUL...But Brewer is a TRUE Litmus Test for ANY Welter/Jr. Middle that THINKS he's a Player in the Game of Boxing...

Brewer's the Guy that PROVES Whether "So & So" is LEGIT or Not...

Lundy trying to do some sort of bullshit flat-footed version of Roy Jones, got clocked... Diaz has the finishing skills of my little sister, no poise, no intelligence, just panicked overanxious flurrying... by the end of the round, Lundy clears the cobwebs and lands some good shots

Lundy has a Strange KNACK for Making Fights MUCH Harder (& Thereby Entertaining) than they Need to B...He's about as Focused as a 5 Year Old Child & that Seems to ALWAYS Cause Some Hairy Moments when he Fights....

    indeed!

when he keeps his weight on the back foot and uses his hands as a bigger part of his defense (parrying, etc) and looks for the countering opportunities, he's pretty good... he's good at it

as soon as he starts getting cute, squareing up, tryin to "El Radar" people with head feints, he inevitably gets hit

His chin isn't the greatest either

but he's a pretty good pro and when he keeps his head and his discipline, he has a nice style

if Brewer stepped up the workrate, with rights to the body, this could get interesting

ugh, Andrade's defense consists of either jumping out of the way as if a Lion was charging at him or immediately clinching

Yeah, Andrade was "Good" Enough to STINK OUT Brewer...Never Put Any HURT on Him or Anything, Simply Did as LITTLE as he Needed to, to Get the Decision Win...

Andrade will be on the p4p list within two years and I'll get to hear about he would have owned Mike McCallum and given Ray Leonard "a good fight"

Andrade makes Ward look like Matthew Saad by comparison. He's HORRIBLE to watch. Skilled, fairly talented, and will most likely win a world title one day.... but hard on the eyes.

He reminds me of a MUCH less talented Micheal Nunn.
