I'd have a hard time. I've never been a fan.

I liked "Sweet & Lowdown", "Radio Days" and "Broadway Danny Rose".

I can't recall getting into anything else he's made.......even those considered classics.

I find most of his movies not much more then neurotic self-gratification.

A have seen a few of them..Manhattan and Crimes and Misdemeanors YEARS ago....didn't care for them. Maybe I was too young to appreciate it....or maybe it just shit....never care for Woody's humor...

tragedies: match point ("hitchcockian" was the buzzword among reviewers)

comedies: annie hall, manhattan, deconstructing harry

farces: bullets over broadway, hollywood ending, small time crooks

avoid: cassandra's dream, vicky cristina barcelona

with a girl i'd just started dating, i'd watch annie hall (funny but poignant) or bullets over broadway (funny).

recently saw Midnight in Paris. thought it was one of the best movies he's done in 10 years.

i thought most of his recent ones sucked except for vicky cristina barcelona.

annie hall is probably my favorite although i havent seen all of his older stuff. manhattan, hannah and her sisters, the mighty aphrodite were all good too.

REED Recently Saw "Anything Else", Starring Jason Biggs & Christina Ricci...REED's ALWAYS Thought Ricci had a QUIRKY HOTness to her & it's on Full Display in this Flick....

Her & Biggs Meet while Dating Other People, then they Start Dating Each Other, then they Move In Together & R Fucking like Jack Rabbits, Then She Goes Thru a Phase where She CAN'T Have Sex w/Him & the Madness Proceeds from There...

It's Probably the ONLY Woody Allen Flick REED's EVER Seen, but it Fits the STEREOTYPE that REED has Heard & Read about about his Films...EVERYBODY in the Flick is Neurotic, the Flick is Set in New York City & Woody Allen has a Fairly Prominent Role in it...
