Victor Ortiz vs. Terry Norris

Is this another supreme performance by the great Terry Norris?

 

At BEST, Ortiz might buzz/wobble Norris early, before getting taken apart and stopped.

At worst, Norris dominates him from the jump and stops him.

I think the second scenario is more likely.

Terry was just a much more talented/skilled technician than Berto, better defensively than Berto, a bigger puncher than Berto, and a bigger man than Berto.

Norris knocks Ortiz down after the break, and knocks him out while he's still on the canvas

 

I think the 6 rounds I gave Ortiz earlier was being too generous. Norris would have blown Ortiz away in under 3.

A prime Norris would also beat the shit outta the faded, rusty Floyd of tonight.

 

Would he KO rusty Floyd X, or would he survive like Leonard did?

 

I think he'd stop him honestly. Lets not forget that Ray was Terry's idol.

With Floyd's mouth, Norris would have HATED him, and been in there trying to kill him.

Norris' handspeed, activity, power, and combo punching would have COMPELTELY overwhelmed the Floyd of tonight.

The Floyd of a few years ago(the Hatton version) would have lit Ortiz up brutally starting about 30 seconds in.

 

Norris even quicker (2 rounds) than I had initially imagined (4 rounds)
