British Super Featherweight title fight, was on sky sports 3 tonight.

Sykes lost his title. Sykes was beaten in the prizefighter tournament by Buckland in under a minute and now tonight to the same man in 12 absorbing rounds. Very good match-up.

    Buckland deserved the win.

    Anyone catch this?

Nah. Sykes was blown out in the first fight. He doesn't have a punch and doesn't have the ruggedness to compensate. Nice stylist, could have been a stellar ammy. Buckland is Welsh is he?

    Yep, Buckland's from Cardiff.

Buckland landed the cleaner, harder, more effective shots. He started the better. By the sixth round he was ahead, but Sykes did have a good finish to the fight.

    Buckland has Sykes' number.

Yeah, Skyes can get in the WBO line now and await a payday, a brutal KO and retirement.

I have no idea who the commentary team will be.

I'm going to try and find out.

I watched the fight. T'was an entertaining, if low quality scrap. Neither men is much cop- Sykes is brave but powder-puff and Buckland's work got progressively worse as the fight went on. Enjoyed it, though.

He looked rusty to me mate. Not sure if he's ready to step up again yet.

Same. His opponent was shockingly shit and slow. Munroe should have stepped it up and got him outta there.
