Trinidad, no question in my mind Awesome action for the first few rounds and Tito gets dropped and hurt, but he's got the better, more varied attack and big time power of his own... Cuevas comes out bombing and rocks him with that hook and puts him down some time in the first three rounds, but Trinidad steadies himself starts firing back with his own shots, (including his underpublicised but very dangerous straight right) and floors Cuevas... The mexican bomber rises gamely and tries to fire back but a follow-up combination from Trinidad wobbles him and Trinidad pounces, forcing the ref to stop it TRINIDAD TKO7 or 6 in a great fight
Sure he'll get knocked down. Tito always gets knocked down. So what? he'd still obliterate Cuevas eventually. If Joe Louis fought David Tua, he'd have gotten knocked down as well. So what?
It would be one of the hardest fights Tito's ever had, that's the point You are calling a guy with 11 title defenses (10 by KO, a bunch of them utterly brutal, flesh off the bone massacres) a "BUM" as if he's Troy Waters or some shit and it'd be a campas-like "whoops, I fell down" knockdown before Trinidad gets up and wins... it would nto go like that at all, Cuevas is far more dangerous than that... Trinidad would be HURT bad before coming back
Currently Felix Trinidad is fighting Floyd Mayweather jr. in another thread....so SLY has to overhype Trinidad in this thread.....
Trinidad TKO 5 Its a war for sure. But I think Trinidad's got the better arsenal. His short hooks and uppercuts inside will give Cuevas alot of problems. I think Tito gets hurt early and probably knocked down but he'll get up and recover like he can do, and turn up the heat to finish the job.
