IIRC what I said is that it's an advantage for Floyd because he's used to fighting bigger and stronger guys and won't have to deal with that here - that Floyd is at least the same size, likely bigger. I don't recall if he said that he is stronger, but I think that is definitely true.

I don't say it because I'm pro or anti Floyd, I say it because I'm capable of being objective and it seems to be the case to me..

 

Also, while Clottey, Cotto, Margarito etc are all bigger than Floyd, they are also only a fraction as good.

Finally watched Floyd/Ortiz.

Floyd didn't look super fast, but I think that's mainly because he didn't have to. Ortiz was a pretty easy target for him and I think Floyd was just going about his business like a pro, playing it safe, saving energy, and making sure that Ortiz didn't catch him. And getting the better of Ortiz.

Cortez absolutely said "Let's go" indicating that the fighters should fight. I knew to look for that based upon earlier comments. It was bullshit that they didn't show the replay in live speed to show how justified Floyd was. Yes, the commentators said it was okay, but based that on 'protect yourself at all times'. They should have based it on Cortez indicating to the fighters to begin fighting.

If Floyd had gotten KO'd like that, I wonder how many people would have blamed Ortiz who are blaming Floyd for any wrongdoing? Ortiz is just a nice guy. We saw it when he quit against Maidana, we saw it now when he knew he was in the wrong for headbutting and how he acted during the fight and after.

Ortiz seems like he would make a great friend, but he just doesn't seem to have the mental makeup to be a great fighter. You shouldn't have to teach a fighter to get up after a knockdown or want to kick ass after fouling someone.

You'll beat Mayweather to death with this approch:
FIGHT HIM LIKE ROCKY MARCIANO or MIKE TYSON FOUGHT.

Cut the ring in more than half. Crouch and walk into him throwing punches; combs; ducking and swinging; KEEP COMING @ HIM and Floyd will fall.

Floyd got NO DEFENSE for that type of opponet. You can NEVER be effective throwing punches while being BACKED-UP ~ Manny Pacquiao comes in swinging and throwing punches; Manny got punches; LOTS OF THEM that will open floyd up and he'll bleed and bleed badly :fightme: PERIOD !!!

Here's What Was Wrong And What Should Have Been Done By Cortez

What was wrong:
Cortez should have: Seperated the fighters like he done. BUTT he should have NEVER let go of Victors glove. Cortex walked away to maybe have the clock stopped (who knows what was going on in that old man head :scared: )

Cortex looked at the time keeper maybe. Now Victor goes over to Floyd to aployize to him. What was Cortez doing at the exact time Victor went to Flyod?

The reff. is the man in CHARGE in the ring. As you know the fighters are to OBEY HIS INSTRUCTION ~ PERIOD !

Cortez was not doing his job and Victor paid the price of it.

Here's what should have been done.
First let me say that Victor was WRONG in BUTTING Floyd YES !

1. Cortex seperates the fighters.
2. Looking @ Floyd and pointing and telling him to go to a natural corner.
3. Still holding onto Victor's glove; Cortez should have done one of two things;
* Warning Victor about the butting of Floyd.
* Or taken a POINT AWAY from him.
4. After Cortez has done this he should have brought the fighters together again
and start to fight. And if Victor so chosees to apolozes to Floyd all well and
good; like we've seem so many,many fighters do.

EXAMPLE: The foul has been committed and the fighter put his gloves out to the other fighter in a sense to say; " I'm sorry " afterwards they touch gloves and the fight begins again.

THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN with " I'm Fair, but I'm firm "
