    LOL Or Jone(S)

Hilarious, especially if Jackson thinks Jones ran from him. Jones systematically whipped his ass.

His comments show what little respect and knowledge he has for boxing.

After a boxer stands right in front of him flat footed and lights him up he'll complain "i don't like how i can't grab hold them and throw them to the ground":lol:

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and saying he's just talking shit for publicity.

He's not that stupid, he must have sparred against a decent boxer in his career, and much like Nick Diaz against that Omar guy, he would have been schooled.

Jones could have some success if he focused on boxing. Right now, it looks like he has the potential to become the best fighter in the history of MMA. I wouldn't want to see him waste his natural potential in wrestling, muay thai, etc. to focus on boxing. I don't see him becoming a champion in boxing today, much less an all time great.

You guys are delusional. Rampage can't even pull the trigger any more with punches against MMA fighters with mediocre stand up defense.

Rampage has zero chance of cutting it in pro boxing.

You must be kidding me? Jones is a pretty amazing fighter, but I'd say his boxing is the worst aspect of his game. Slow, telegraphed punches, no real skill or explosiveness with boxing.

Anderson Silva would outbox him with ease, for example.

Jones is a beast on the ground, and has great leg kicks. I'd say his wrestling and ground game is his best asset, look how he dominated the big bad wrestler Bader with ease.

I dont want to speak for Neil, but i think he meant that Jones is such a good Athlete that if he put mind to it, he could be successful in any sport he wanted.

He's big and tall with an unprecedented reach, good fitness and fantastic reflexes and coordination....of course he could've been a good boxer.

The only reason he isn't a fantastic boxer by MMA standards is because it's sub-optimal for him when he can his elbows and knees which are much more dangerous weapons....as well as throwing kicks to stay further out of range.

I read a story on SI.com where Jones said he got into wrestling because he was terrible at other sports.

Trpl, just curious, who are you talking to? Not one person has suggested Rampage would have a chance

    Jones was built for combat.

He's obviously not a super explosive athlete in terms of running and jumping. He's doing what he's best at now...essentially.

    Just in case anyone does?

I have no clue who I was responding to. Seriously, no clue.

Hell, maybe I was responding to Rampage himself.

I think you're right. I don't drink so I can't take the Caligula route here. Maybe I had a mini stroke or something. Hell, maybe I just timed my coffee wrong.

Do any of you chaps have a video of Diaz sparring Henry? Kinda curious to see it but the only one I can find is 'private'.
