Bellew out first. Should be a cracker. Good atmosphere in Liverpool.

Shocking refereeing. If its going to be the case that every Werren fighter who fights on Werrens cards on Werrens channel gets this sort of treatment, then, fuck it, it might not be worth watching the fights even for free.

The Egg warned Bellew within 20 seconds of the fight starting, then allowed Cleverley, who is a posturing poof, to throw repeated low blows and elbows all night.

I didn't see the fight. Anyone surprised Werren's boy had a close fight with Bellew, as Bellew was called a total scrub beforehand?

Bellew was outjabbing him so Cleverly got stuck in with some low blows for a few rounds. He didn't even get a warning until Bellew had enough of it and turned away.

Yea, the commentators saw the low blows clearly, as we did. Credit to bellew, he fought well, landed some nice shots and took some too.

Wasn't as wide as 5 points tho. The scoring in both fights were off, imo.

It was a good fight IMO, but not as good as that nugget Bonce and his pals tried to make it out to be. Bellew did better than I expected and seems a decent, fringe world level type. He's got no power, though. Cleverly, on the other hand, seems to be losing some of his lustre of late. I wonder if he's trying too much, too soon? He needs to keep well away from any of the better 175lb-ers for now, because therein lies ruin.

He is no Joe Calzaghe even though thats who he thinks he is. Seemed hurt to the body a bit too by Bellew, who was tired at the weight. He should milk that title for a bit, not ready for Dawson and might never be ready for Dawson.

He gets hit too easily, has flaws and is wreckless at times.

Against a solid body puncher, where he's vulnerable, he'll really struggle.
