Tough one, very tough. I don't know why people here seem so confident that Holmes would win. Bowe is much better than anyone Holmes faced in his prime. Bowe's jab nullifies Holmes' jab and Bowe was taller, bigger and stronger. Stamina is about equal. Holmes the smarter fighter and better boxer (by a little bit) and Bowe the better infighter. I lean towards Holmes...because I think he pulls it out in the late rounds. But I'm not confident.
Holmes was the better boxer by a LOTTA bit. And Holmes would outjab Bowe. Not saying Bowe wouldnt have some success with his jab, but he wouldnt win the jab battle against Holmes.
I wouldnt expect Bowes jab to negate Holmes' per se, but I agree with the rest of this to a word. Bowe is quite easily the sternest foe Holmes could face anywhere between his opponents from his debut until he met Tyson fifteen years later, never mind just his title reign.
