    Charles. Greatest fighter ever, IMO.

    Locche or Cerdan?

He just has Oscar's cum stuck between his teeth is all.

*Waits for his played out, predictable Tyson come back. Despite the fact that I hardly ever discuss Tyson.*

How do you figure? Because Spinks, unlike Oscar, doesn't happen to be the object of your disdain? And that you experience personal discomfort over the fact ODH's a very handsome man (whereas Spinks is a gum chewing idiot)?

Spinks rates higher than Oscar. What would the ATG 147lbrs have done to Oscar? What would the ATG 175lbrs have done to Spinks? Who gets the worst whupping? Oscar, every time, principally because Spinks would have to beat up on himself to fulfill that little scenario.

Gene Fullmer vs Juan Manuel Marquez.

Marquez/Fullmer is tough... I would probably give Marquez the slight edge because he had fewer dogdy decision wins on his record and he managed to be a big factor in three weight classes, but Fullmer was a formidable guy

Oscar never got in the ring with a guy as remotely as dangerous as a prime Mike Tyson. These are things that count. Forget that Spinks was blasted on, he got in the ring. For Oscar, it was old men, undersized dudes, slow arse guys.....name one killer he fought before Quartey?

Tiger. Tiger broke the mould for African fighters and probably fought in more difficult era. Very hard to see past his double-division status as a dude who had a run as two-time 160lb champ and Undisp 175 champ.

As formidable as Nelson was, he did fight in an era where there were more titles.

Ask yourself, how many guys are ever likely to be the Undisputed 160 and 175lb champions when there are guys like Torres, Fullmer, Giardello, even Hurricane Carter, to deal with.

Roy Jones didn't manage that. Hagler didn't even try. Hearns didn't manage it.

Spinks is top 5 all-time in a historically rich division. The first LHW champ in what, a century, to win the HW title. On top of that, he showed he could beat quality opposition in different styles.

De La Hoya is not on that level.

    George Foreman or Larry Holmes?

Tiger over Nelson, and Locche over the (under-appreciated) Cerdan.

    Hagler or Monzon?

Tito...Tszyu was an underachiever and his defense was suspect. You can't have suspect defense against a puncher like Tito.

Irish, forget FOUGHT. Oscar never BEAT anybody as good as Qawi. And Spinks beat Qawi by a wide margin. He also beat Eddie MM by a clear margin. Eddie was a better fighter than Quartey.

Oscar choked against Tito, and arguably lost the Quartey fight.

What top fighter did he ever beat clearly? Answer...... a shop worn Vargas.

Better/greater than Mike Spinks? Fuckin PLEAASEE.

Pac will probably be remembered as greater by the general public.

Us die hards should realize that Pea was better, and greater.

    Terry Norris or James Toney?

Hard to say one guy controlled a division and the other had great wins throughout his career...Based on quality of position I have to go with Ortiz

    Aaron Pryor or Ricky Hatton

    Hagler.

Hagler probably beat Ray Leonard, he destroyed Hearns in 3 rounds and beat up a host of solid contenders despite being, in my opinion, a slightly undersized 160lbr.

Monzon had a lot of shaky fights, his "KO" of Benvenuti was a sham, as was some of the refereeing in his fight with Benny Briscoe {the draw}. He had Tony Mundine beaten up in sparring so as to weaken him for their fight. He also did rely on basically being a wide-shouldered guy with a height advantage.

Just for comparisons sake, compare Monzons stoppage of Napoles to Haglers stoppage of Hearns.

Pryor gets the nod. He shouldn't, because I believe he cheated for the Arguello fights, and that would blow a major hole in Aarons reputation right there.

Pryor would have also given a better account of himself in fights with Mayweather and Pacquaio, though again the spectre of impropriety, this time on Pacs behalf, and that of Floyd with his weight demands {147}, presents itself.

For me, Pryor would have beaten Tszyu anyways, so that might help seal it.
