I really hope Cotto wins, such big fan of his, i went to see him fight zab judah in madison square garden in 2007, he smashed up judah. also saw the great bobby pacman that night too margorita is scum, i hope he takes him apart.

Margarito needs a career ending beating. That cheating scum shouldn't even be ALLOWED to make money from the sport of boxing.

Cotto via close UD is my call. I think he'll do much of what he did the first time but he'll have a better strategy in how to deal with Margarito inside.

Plus without Margarito's block wraps, his punches won't have the same affect.

Like most I am rooting heavily for Cotto here. Not just because I believe Margarito loaded his gloves in the first fight, but I was originally rooting for Cotto to win the first fight and I am a big fan of Cotto.

Agree with you guys about Kellerman. I was quite annoyed at the commentary on Saturday night, too. Glad to see I am not the only one. Really was quite awful.

I think Margarito is going to win again tho, in the same fashion as the first fight... which is going to piss me off

 

If I were a Floyd fan I wouldn't wish success to one of the guys he ducked. It's better for you if he looks like shit.

 

Although I don't have so much a problem with Kellerman (always liked him) the HBO broadcasting crew and their phonyness is what I find quite annoying.

After every finished statement made you can actually see a thought bubble appear over their head saying "okay insert smile now". Then they'll go out of their way to laugh at any unfunny joke the other says and it's pretty obvious none of them like each other. You could tell Merchant and Foreman didn't get along, Lampley seems to hate everyone, everyone hates Merchant, and Max seems to be the new guy that everyone has to begrudgingly accept. Roy is the only one who seems to really kind of have a real respect factor and likewise doesn't seem to really dislike anyone.

You know what HBO needs to do? They need to put Roy and Tarver on the broadcast team at the same time. I'd pay PPV money to see that happen.

Reports have in that this new trainer is pushing Cotto to the limits in camp. They are really focusing on stamina and staying off the ropes. Cant wait for this fight.

 

If Cotto still had Stewart he would learn to tie up...If he doesnt tie up Margarito on the inside then he could lose again. If he actually uses his brain and doesnt hop around for 12 rounds and get gassed he will beat Margarito by UD...In fact he could stop Margarito if he goes to his body but he can only go to his body if he clinches a bit and stands more flatfooted. If I was training Cotto for this fight he'd win by TKO.

 

I think it's going to be an excellent fight.
