Damn Jaws how good does Pacmans dick taste?
Give props where its due, thats all this was...
The fact that more than 50% of every boxing site and press scoring had it for Marquez means that we aren't the only ones who think Marquez won. You will come back by saying well everyone is wrong or stupid, because thats your type of reasoning...
But honestly I went with clean effective punching and ring generalship...not come forward and miss like Pacman did...He threw lots of punches but missed 80% of them, and dont even comeback to me with compubox, that shit was ridiculous...

Pac has won 3 fights against Marquez. IMO the fights were 6-6 6-6 and 7-5 in rounds.

All close fights. but KD's count, and Marquez doesn't get credit for missing shots. That just isn't how boxing works. Manny landed at a higher rate and landed more shots, and was the guy coming forward. I dont understand how people can say Marquez won 8 rounds. Hell the 5 rounds I thought he won (and the 1st which I gave to manny was a nothing round that could've gone either way), were him landing enough counters to negate Pac's offense.

Manny looked horrible, part of that is that marquez fought well and is in his head. But the way these homos talk Marquez outlanded pac 2-1 and got robbed, that just isn't reality.

Marquez didn't land shit either. I dont understand. I watched the fight at hooters in long beach, with 500 mexicans packed into a room, they went nuts everytime marquez threw a combination. 90% of his combo's were 5 missed punches. I just don't understand the marquez love.

    I don't agree at all...
The fact you gave Pacman 6 rounds in the first fight tells it all, there is no point in debating with you if you really had the fight like that...
Again, if you thought Pacman won, thats fine...but 6 rounds? no way.
That means you gave him every close round you could and another just because..
BTW not that it matters but might wanna read what other fighters thought who won, I read quite a few and the majority had it for Marquez. I had it 7-5 Marquez and that honestly was very clear to me...
Pacman was the one stumbling around the ring, he was the only one hurt, he was the only one that lost control of the fight, he looked lost...Roach even thought he lost...
    I mean come on...

I guess you went to take a piss before each time Marquez cracked him with hard straight right hands and left hooks.

Pacquiao clearly won the first fight, the last 2 could've gone either way. How anyone could see it any other way is beyond me. Only the first fight was clear (and it wasnt that clear) The last two couldve been 8 4 either way.

Agreed Pacquiao won the first and the second was wire-thin, but Marquez damn sure won yesterday.

Regardless who you thought won, Jmm performed much better than expected. Also, regardless who you thought won, the stats favor Pacquiao significantly. Now this is not grounds for declaring his victory, but it does poke at the claim the decision was a robbery.

    That's how I feel.

I wouldn't even argue much to someone thinking the trilogy is 2-1 to Marquez (fights 2 and 3), but the notion he won the first fight is absurd.

Ironically it was the more reckless, raw Pacquiao that did the best against Marquez in fight number one.

He was more aggressive and fearless back then, and more unpredictable.

Overall Manny has improved, but Manny becoming more technical and more of a boxer actually plays into Marquez's hands, I think that was definitely part of the story yesterday.

Marquez having issues in the first round against Pacquiao had more to do with Marquez being reckless than Pacquiao being reckless. Rounds 2-11 were largely a clinic for Marquez.

I'm sure though, that Pacquiao got older in the corner betweens round 2-3 and his speed was diminished. Also, Roach gave him instructions in round 3 that made him less aggressive, less unpredictable, etc., and that's why Marquez was able to spend the rest of the fight boxing Pac's ears off while sporting a broken nose.

Plus, he was wearing cheap socks.

lol, you think it was a clinic for Marquez?

Fight #1 was Pacquiao's best by a mile. He was constantly strafing from side to side, being unpredictable, and whacking Marquez with the straight left.

He won at least 6 rounds and was robbed. If you think Marquez won that, you're insane, or just a Pacquiao hater, or both.

Pacquiao did better because he attacked Marquez more fearlessly, and was not as concerned with Marquez's counters.

Pacquiao's speed being diminished at this point isn't arguable, so why try and downplay it?

Floyd's speed is very diminished too since his prime, the difference is his style doesn't really rely on raw hand and footspeed.

no fucking way you put Paez ahead of JMM? :giggle:

Talent wise the best from Mexico ever is between Sanchez and JMM

Accomplishment wise I would put JMM with Morales.

Finito Lopez and Chavez have overrated resumes.

I dont think anyone over-rates Lopez's CV, that being his weakest point --- but his talent, and arguably his skill, were second to none.

what bothers me about Finito's carreer is that he never fought Carbajal or Gonzalez.

All three are in the hall of fame. Carbajal and Gonzalez had a classic trilogy yet Finito was regarded as better than both without fighting either of them ever.

I agree talent wise Finito was great but you still have to test yourself.

But really, is the Paez thing just for lolz? He's not even close to being the best Mexican fighter ever. He wouldn't even be competitive with Marquez. Morales would have battered him too.

I just realised it's Neil who said that, he's obviously joking.
