Again, you want to criticize my MMA knowledge and then make a ridiculous comment like this.

Carwin blasted out Frank Mir and Gabe Gonzaga each in less than 4 minutes.

Meanwhile Rogers knocked out the china chin Arlovski and Abongo freaking Humphrey. Not to mention, Eddie Sanchez beat Rogers in a stand up battle and was never budged.

You my friend are absolutely nuts if you think Rogers and Carwin have fought and won on the same level.

But even more importantly, you're uninformed ass, who was moronic enough to compare Overeem's HW level of competition to JDS, calls me a UFC tool?

First, you probably say that about anyone that doesn't skeet all over themselves because Overeem beat some scrub in Japan. Second, I'm pretty sure I sing the praises of Bellator more than anyone around here. And third, I am also pretty sure I slam the UFC as hard as anyone when they fuck up.

I just love you idiots that think MMA begins and ends with a hack like Overeem who couldn't win a single big fight at 205 despite having multiple opportunities. If a UFC fighter folded in big fights like Overeem, or ran away scared as much as Overeem from big fights, you'd call him a bum.

    Get a clue.

You have a manichean view of the situation. Never claimed that Overeem opposition is exceptional, only that it's not as bad as you try to say it is, and pointing that most UFC HW level of opposition is not much better. And if a UFC fighter had the same resume as Alistair, no I wouldn't call him a bum, especially since a lot of these lost came when he was under 25 years old, and weighted about half as what he does new (but hey, I guess a fighter can never improved ), and he was taking on a killers row .as I said , sure his attitude was a bit dissapointing at moments, and theyre's plenty of room to criticize him for that, but it's obvious that he was mostly concentrating on k1, and was getting acclimated at a new weight. Anyway, these are thing of past, and recently you cant criticize him for his opposition

And Rogers resume is prettty similar to Carwin , Roger has Arlovski, Fedor, Overeew and Barnett, while Carwin has Gonzaga, mir, Lesnar and JDS.

I don't think Carwin does any better than Rogers did versus those 4.

BTW Alistair has a couple of big wins at LHW

K-1 is not MMA. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

i've seen all of overeem's k-1 fights and actually attended the grand prix tourney in korea two years ago. bojansky is more of a kicker/muay thai type and has limited boxing ability. plus, he seems to have zero steam in his punches.

hari is dangerous and offensively one of the best (as he proved in their rematch) but his chin is shit.

not to say that JDS is a lock to win, and i'm sure overeem's experience will come into play, but this is mma, in a cage, not in the ring w/ bigger gloves and no ground and pound.

by your logic, francis botha should've been a force in MMA.

Yeah, Belfort, twice. That's it though.

Honestly I thought about Belfort and don't really consider him a big win for Overeem.

I sort of think Belfort and Overeem are kind of similar in terms of their success at 205 against mediocre talent but failing against the better guys.

Dude, did Igor ever even win a fight at 205?

In 2000 at Heavyweight, a win over Igor would be great. But in 2005 at 205, not so much.

    Just my opinion.

    Honestly,
I always found Igor to be terribly overated and average. But he was considered a top fighter when Alistair beat him

Sounds fair enough because people were nuts about him for a long time.
