What improvements would you like to be made? What would you change/bring in, for more accurate/fairer scoring?

The criteria for judging is fine, its just that the judges don't follow it, or go with the crowd or the favorite or numerous other things other than the actual fight.
Some judges are biased right off the bat, but they still judge...
If the judges actually went by the real criteria we would have far less contraversial decisions.

I would hire ex-fighters to work as judges.

As far as I know, there's no "judging" school. They should be trained, and tested, like lawyers and doctors. They should pass yearly tests. It's one of the less regulated boxing-related jobs out there.

I'm pretty sure there are school-like procedures you have to go through to qualify as a judge. Numerous tests must be done and you go up in levels, gaining more experience.

I'd like to see ex fighters as judges too, well the ones that have not been too affected mentally after a hard, long boxing career.

Yeah, it would make no sense to have Gerald Mcclellan as judge, but there are some sharp-eyed ex boxers who should have more say on who wins a fight.

Nevermind about your account, you just changed your nickname right? I was wondering where the hell shake n bake was.
