Anybody giving Peterson a chance for an upset? There was a time when I thought his skills might give Amir a seriously tough fight, but Ive changed my mind. I think Khan's speed is gonna be way too much for him. Plus, I think Peterson is somewhat of a mental midget. He's got world class skills, but mentally I just see him freezing in a fight like this. Khan by either 9-3 UD, or late stoppage.
Nah, I don't see Peterson having what it takes to pull the upset. Khan decision or late stoppage seems the safe bet.
Khan, big and early. He's got the inner-city slickness here. He's the Third Revelation. The hell with Peterson and his played-out "lived in a car once" routine.
Khan via UD. His speed will be too much and I don't see Peterson as having the tools to exploit Khan's weaknesses. Careful matchmaking for Khan here.
Peterson will be competitive in spots but I don't see him letting his hands go enough to win a decision.
Khan with extreme ease. Peterson is awful, I'll be surprised if he averages more than 25 punches a round. Probably a meek tko of some kind after about 9 or 10.
I'm with Hut, I just simply don't understand how Peterson is rated at all at world level. He is awful at this level, he's just so nondescript and ineffective. Khan by extremely easy decision.
A few pics of Khan I saw on boxingscene and he looks a bit soft. Starting to wonder if he's taken Peterson lightly. I still think he should beat this guy. But it is curious.
I agree, Perterson got some serious skills but there seems to be something lacking about him and it may just be heart and desire. Khan wins this
peterson does nothing spectacular, but seems difficult to beat. bradley beat him convincingly, but he fought very hard to win rounds. it's not like he has more than a single loss. his fight vs. ortiz was close and the draw was a debatable verdict.
