I hope Devon boxes his head off. Maidana is a Wacha.

Interesting. There were rumours this match would happen.

Some people like Barristan attribute Alexander's scrubbiness to being weight drained at 140.

I've never rated Alexander, and always thought Bradley would beat him easily.

We'll see in this fight. I expect Maidana to beat him up.

You don't understand. Alexander is one of the true "Skillz" fighters, true "Pocket" fighters.....:shit:

I'll give the guy this fight and this fight alone to make up for his previous shitty showings.

Maybe he can PED up and get on with things but I doubt it. Maidana is a powerful but routine opponent.

If Alexander has a fraction of the skill people say he does then he should be looking for a late-rounds stoppage here.

I thought Bradley did beat him. Did he not?

Please. If they were to meet again, that body shot Maidana received will seem like nothing. Khan would make him look foolish and get an early stoppage next time round.

It was all an act you know, the way Amir was staggering round the place. He's quite the entertainer.

he's lucky to some extent. not that it would have been justified necessarily, but there's some referees, especially those working in a fighter's home town, who would've stopped that fight and awarded it to Maidana.

Well, the ref was right not to stop the fight as Khan continued to throw back in bunches. Khan's better now after seeing that through and imo, would win in easier and stunning fashion in a rematch.

Referring back to Alexander vs Maidana, it's been so long since i've seen Devon fight, i've forgotten his style :scratcher:. I hate Maidana, so hope he gets schooled.

Devon is good, black and a southpaw. He needs to leave 140 to get a title shot.

The killer that is Maidana awaits him.

Maidana has also been forced out by racists like Morales.

LOL @ Maidana being a killer. If Khan had as bad a chin as people say he does, that shot, WHICH HE TOOK, SHOULD HAVE sparked him, but it didn't.

Praise be, King Khan, the one who reigns supreme.

Yea, Alexander has trouble. Not sure 'bout Maidana. I think he is just moving up in weight.

I dont' like these kind of fights. They should have fought at 140 when both were in the top 5 of the division.

When I fighter moves up in weight I wanna see him tested vs a guy from that highter weight class. Not fight another guy coming up with him.

Like when Floyd fought Sharmba Mitchell at 147 - big deal.

how can you measure anything from either guy if their first test at the new weight is against another small guy coming up?

the fight is in St. Louis so Alexander will probably win another close controversial decision.

    This^

Khan "survived" against that face-first bum and it's been glossed over like it was some great victory

This matchup is a natural... Negative, over-cautious "boxer" affleet against a guy too dumb to realize that he's not supposed to have any success throwing wild haymakers while leading with his face... I'd watch it, for sure, it'll be fun

Not even close, tbh. You wins rounds by landing the better punches not displaying legendary gallantry
