600,000 is a sham. Too low. More people should have bought this fight. It was a much better affair than Veetor "Nobody Loves Me" Orteez vs Floyd "Why Aybody Hate me" Mayweather.

So was I...and it reinforces my belief that Cotto needs a big payday to retire on.

600,000 for a genuine grudge match is truly annoying, considering that guys like Floyd do 1.000.000 for fighting scrubz.

I feel the economy had a big impact considering this was the 3rd PPV within a few month span. Either way I thought it was going to be more then 600K.

The way the Mayweather vs Ortiz fight ended I think people just said fuck it the rest of the year.Honestly I think it did better than I expected.

Not bad for a non-Floyd or Pac PPV.

600K is very good considering it was following 2-3 monhts of PPV starting with Mayweather vs. Ortiz in Sept, then Hopkins vs. Dawson on October...then Pac vs. Marquez III in November.....

600K is very good...but I'm surprise the number came out so quickly...it take Arum and Top Rank weeks to give out figures..

Arum didnt release the numbers, someone else did. I dont know how people could say 600k is low. This is a very good number.

Honestly pretty respectable. There is a HUGE difference between Manny/Floyd numbers and everyone else. Most people don't come close to half a mil, let alone a mil.

Did they cut out the question from Max to Cotto regarding the wraps?

Agreed, 600k is not bad at all. Not everyone can draw like Floyd & Manny can.

600k is quite good. As others have said, Manny, Floyd and back in the day with DLH and Tyson and whatnot... those are completely different PPV entities. Hell Roy Jones and Lennox would do numbers similar to this. I don't have my PPV buys document at work but depending on the opponent they wouldn't do much better or worse than that.

It's a really good number considering Cotto was guaranteed $5 million and Margarito $2.5 million.

I'm sure with the advertising that goes into a Mayweather or Pacquiao fight, Cotto-Margarito II would just as if not more so profitable.

Frankly, it is 600,000 more than they deserved. I actually boycotted the fight. Neither Cotto or Margarito did anything significant after getting treated like Syrian hookers by Manny Pacman. Both got beaten within an inch of their lives and then suddenly they headline a show. Boxing=bullshit.
