1892: A wagon load of convicts on its way to prison inches its way through the northern mountains, escorted by a cavalry troop. They are suddenly and viciously attacked by a gang of bandits searching for rumoured gold within the convoy. Only a sergeant, his beautiful young daughter and a chain gang of seven of the most sadistic, murderous men alive survive the assault. Left without horses or a wagon, the sergeant forges ahead to get his prisoners to their destination, all the while protecting his daughter, watching out for the still pursuing bandits and trying to determine which one of the prisoners was the man who murdered his wife. To make matters worse, the criminals discover that the chain binding them together is made of the gold. Their desperate journey plunges our survivors into the furthest extremes of human savagery... choked, stabbed, shot, burned. And eaten.

I think Destruction and Mayhem will check out a few of these, especially Prometheus, as it is about his fave subject-Greek Mythology, and stars his man crush Michael Fassbender.

Prometheus is about the only one I'd have high hopes for because Ridley Scott is involved.

Cut Throats Nine might be interesting in a grindhouse sort of way.

Maybe Cut Throats Nine and Prometheus. The Dracula tale had better be a comedy, with a premise like that. LOL.

Well, the first three movies on this list have all been pretty forgettable.

Prometheus is getting some hype now, though it i ssupposed tobe an Alien prequel, not about Greek mythology.

I am excited about Cut Throats Nine. But I am not sure what it's status is now.

They all sound good to me on paper and have the potential to be great films.
I saw a clip of the three musketeers in the cinema not long ago and it looked like it had promise. I'll check them out.

The 3 Musketeers has been done to death, looks like it's for teenyboppers, and has already failed as far as drawing my interest because it's the freaking 3 Musketeers. Although it's showing a solid 6.0 on IMDB I'll pass.

Immortals looks okay, but I've heard both negative reviews and positive ones. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle and it's showing a 6.6 on IMDB. This one I'll eventually check out.

Conan looked like absolute shite from the moment I saw the trailer and so far, based on the reviews I've read plus it's mediocre score of 5.2 on IMDB, it appears I was right to pass on it.

The last 3 films on that list though, sound really promising and no movie am I looking forward to more than Prometheus.
