    The movie Buried with Ryan Reynolds... similar to 127 hours but instead of being trapped under a rock he is buried alive. I found this movie very disturbing.

    Hmmm...but was is shocking as in 'hard to watch'?

    Ray Winstone punching and stamping repeatedly on his wife's face while manically screaming "Cunt!!" over and over...that's hard to watch.

    I was actually kind of shocked, but I can't really say why without giving anything away. A very disturbing movie.

    Basically the guy is a contractor (truck driver) in Iraq and his group gets ambushed by some insurgents. He blacks out during the ambush because a kid hits him in the head with a rock. When he wakes up he finds himself buried alive in a wooden coffin with a lighter, some glow sticks, a pen, and a cell phone. None of this is the shocking part... just giving a quick summary of the premise of the movie.

    Yeah, I saw it...a lot of people suggested that the way the US Government treats its own citizens abroad was pretty shocking/disturbing too.
