I dont see this going well for brock unless some changes in training were made.

Lesnar should just retire, that was sad, it seems as if he basically quit

to be honest, while I think that overeem is just better than lesnar, Brock basically cashed out in this fight ( and no surprise that he's retiring ). You don't come back from that long a layoff witht he surgery and all to fight a beast like Overeem, unless your confidence is sky high, wich Lesnar's obiviously wasn't comming off the whooping he took last time out vs Velasquez

And that was his second surgery. Most didnt think he was coming back after the first one.

That's exactly my thought. I don't think Lesnar was prepared to go deep into the well to win this fight. I think his plan was layed out ahead of time and he was half-hearted.

That being said, Lesnar just isn't as good a mixed martial artist as Overeem.

It's interesting that his plan was only for two more fights and then retire.

Did anyone argue with you on that one? I can't imagine anyone cares enough about Gamburyan to muster much of a debate.

By the way, if you're not a world class wrestler, you're not beating Nate Diaz at 155. The dude's boxing has just gotten too good for anyone to box with him.

The Diaz brothers are two of a very small group of MMA fighters that continually utilize the jab to start effective combinations. It seems so simple to boxing fans but that's really the only secret to their stand up success. They keep their opponents on the end of long, snapping jabs.

The problem for Nate is that the top of the 155 pound division in the UFC is filled with good wrestlers. Nate trains with some very good wrestlers so hopefully his take down defense has improved since his last stint at 155.

mma fighters also have no head movement or boxing defense, as showcased by Cerrone. Really dissapointing fight from him.

Caught the last two fights in a bar. Didn't look like Lesnar came to fight.

Lesnar looked weak and unwilling. Either he knew he had no shot or he didn't care to even try anymore.

I don't know much about MMA so perhaps it is a proven fact already, but this Overeem guy is the most obvious steroid user ever. His arms are just unnatural

Overeem is a better fighter since his move to heavyweight,he wasted his youth killing himself to make 205.

yeah he's a roid head. as are most of the fighters in the ufc. Probably has stronger gear than most of them tough, and he really use the time he wasn't getting tested to inject some really potent stuff

the most impressive thing about Alistair performance is that he ragdolled lesnar around, wich was supposse to be that immovable object. combining it with him throwing Rogers (who's very strong) around like a kid, it make me wonder how JDS will be able to deal with the strenght of Alistair. My guess is not : well at all. i expect Alistair to crush JDS.

Probably also will finally make clown like triplesec realize that this alistair is not the same guy that was getting overpowered by Shogun and Liddell aeons ago

Overeem should of moved up in weight years ago.I positive he wouldn't have as many losses as he does on his record.
