The Strikeforce MW title is on the line tonight, but with Keith Jardine as the challenger, it's a dismal match-up. Luckily the rest of the card is solid with a ton of young prospects getting tough challenges.

Undefeated Lorenz Larkin takes on former champ King Mo. It should be a good test for both guys. Larkin is a dynamic striker and fun to watch.

Meanwhile, Tyrone Woodley could move a step closer to the vacant WW Title as he faces a very solid Canadian Prospect in Jordan Mein.

    Main card (Showtime)
    • Middleweight Championship bout: Luke Rockhold (c) vs. Keith Jardine
    • Middleweight bout: Robbie Lawler vs. Adlan Amagov
    • Light Heavyweight bout: Muhammed Lawal vs. Lorenz Larkin
    • Welterweight bout: Tyron Woodley vs. Jordan Mein
    • Welterweight bout: Tarec Saffiedine vs. Tyler Stinson
    Preliminary card (Showtime Extreme)

    • Welterweight bout: Nah-Shon Burrell vs. James Terry[
    • Light Heavyweight bout: Gian Villante vs. Trevor Smith
    • Lightweight bout: Ricky Legere vs. Chris Spang
    • Catchweight bout (160-lbs): Estevan Payan vs. Alonzo Martinez

This is what strikeforce should be. Developing grounds for UFC. They better keep strikefore around for more than just another year.

I used to wrestle, and help coach with Ricky Legere a few years back. Glad to see him moving up.

Rockhold looked decent, but I think part of it has to do with how shot + weight drained Jardine was. Not that Jardine was ever that great in the first place. I do like Rockholds spirit though.

Mo fed on another can who looks like he never even trained on the mat. This fight told us nothing.

The Lawler win was nice. Love those risky moves.

Woodley.....boooooooring. This style of fighting will win him no fans.

Average event, honestly was expecting it to be more competitive.

Me too. Most of the guys that lost just seemed terribly over-matched.

I guess the KO loss reminded Mo that he's a wrestler,

And Woodley couldn't have been more boring.

If this card was a person's first time watching MMA, they might never come back....

Exactly. Mo may want to stay in Strikeforce as well. He wont do shit in the UFC.

I doubt it. When fighting the upper tier fighters, he will revert back to hos wrestling background, and the UFC LHW division has lots of good wrestlers.

Woodley is the most boring fighter ever in the history of MMA. I have never witnessed such blatant stalling and just laying on a guy. This guy makes GSP look like a 80's Mike Tyson. He should be fucking invoiced and have to pay the fans for having to watch that garbage.

It would entertain me to see him KO'd, I agree.

Indeed. I literally feel asleep watching his fight on Saturday night. It was a split decision win and I honestly think the one judge penalized him for being boring.

Woodley learned against Paul Daley that his stand up sucks and his chin is iffy. He is 100% back to absolutely minimizing the time spent standing.

Poor Strikeforce. They go from Nick Diaz as the top 170 pounder who is NEVER boring to Tyrone Woodley. Yuck!
