Yep. Ironically, its probably the last team Ferguson wanted to play or the last place he wanted to play them. This time, his opinion goes by the wayside.

Both Neils are great men. I'm still gobsmacked, really didn't see this coming

Slice, who would you like to realistically see in charge next? I don't think Bruce or Hughes are the men for the job.

I could cry now. I'm remaining upbeat and positive, but this sacking is not going down well.

I saw Bruce the Round being fired, not this, not sure that QPR were doing that badly. 1-0 losses to Liverpool and Arsenal away, 0-1 loss to United at home, single goal loss {2-3} to City?? Fernandes should have gotten out the cheque book and given Warnock until the Summer.

Replacements? Bruce is a big no-no. Hughes is not far behind, in my opinion.

There's no one who isn't already in a job that is better than Warnock. Fucking shocking decision.

Warnock added: "I have enjoyed my time here more than anywhere else and the QPR fans have been brilliant with me - they deserve success.

"My biggest regret is that the takeover didn't happen earlier, because that would have given me the opportunity to bring in the targets I'd pinpointed all last summer and probably given us a better chance to succeed in the Premier League.

"I've been involved in the game a long time and I will be spending the immediate future with my family and friends before deciding my next career move."

Martin O'Neill a month or two ago would have been an ideal replacement. Now.....:dunno:...... Rafa Benitez, shock replacement, if Ferrnandes has money, Benitez could go in there. Not sure Benitez should bother, not saying this in reference to you or Jimmy, but.....he won't get any credit in any case and the press would be hanging on QPR's every move just to put him down.

I get what you mean, but I'd love to have Benitez at QPR. Think we'll get Hughes though, which is a fucking shit choice

Every player or assistant manager under Fergie has made a shit manager and most of them keep getting chance after chance. Steve McLaren.....:shit:

Though having blurted that, now that i think about it Hughes is probably the least shit of the lot. He might not actually be that bad.

I think he's distinctly average. Not that bad, but not that good either.

    Wouldn't mind Alan Curbishley.

Sorry Fellas, Lez is busy single-handedly defeating racism right now, you are going to wind up with some mundane no-hoper like Alan "Curbs" Curbishley.

    Roy Keane? :scared2:

Looks like it's Hughes. His record in the premiership is not all bad.

    Hughes :shit:

Shoudda gone for Roy "Scattergun" Keane.

He'd have made Taraabt "buck up his ideas" in no time.

Faurlin out for the rest of the season. Just typical.

I really hope Warnocks departure doesn't spell the end of Taarabt. Hughes is so fucking average, I really don't want him here

Keane hasn't got real premier league experience though, Irish. He did great though to get Sunderland promoted.

He got them promoted, they had lost 5 straight and they won the Championship. Then he kept them up in the crucial first season. They fired him in Warnock-esque circumstances and got Ricky Sbragia in, then Bruce the Round. We saw how that turned out. Only now are they getting back into it with O'Neill.

Firing Warnock is a mistake, for two simple reasons; 1. there is no immediate replacement who would constitute a significant improvement, 2. The club is in the middle of a transfer window, whatever you spend now is going to be having 10%, 15% and what have you tacked onto it.

Sacking Warnock at this stage in the season seems crazy to me, but it COULD prove to be a good move.

Fernandes was quoted, saying, "Easy to call me an idiot. But its harder to make decisions. May be the wrong one and ill be the idiot and ill go."

Hughes is alright IMO. No better than Warnock, mind. Bruce is a muppet: avoid at all costs.
