they are something or another thread. BOSS made an excellent point as he tends to do and it got me thinking which fights that actually took place would you predict differently if they never did take place. You dig ? For example If I came across a mythical match up of 98 Tyson vs 98 Botha I would predict Tyson KO1 without any doubt since Botha is so easy to hit and has a crap chin etc...This thread IS NOT for those who think they're always right and can't fess up to being wrong. 1.PICK A FIGHT. 2.PRETEND THEY NEVER FOUGHT 3.VISUALIZE HOW THE FIGHT GOES DOWN. 4. TELL US. p.s Ok I'm done . I'm tired and this is starting to confuse myself so I hope I was remotely clear here so we can do this...
Alright. I expected Lewis to knock Vitali on his ass, the first time he landed something big and clean. Instead, Lewis was forced to chip away at Vitali's flesh in order to force a stoppage, and in the meantime, found himself in a brawl in which Vitali was landing plenty of his own. Both fighters wound up winning that night. Lewis managed to end his career not only with a good win, but with one of the best heavyweight fights in recent times. There hasn't been a heavyweight fight since as exciting as that one. Vitali lost the fight but still enhanced his reputation, having performed far better than expected (at least by me), proven he has a chin unlike his brother, and that he's not a quitter.
Foreman in three against Ali (74). I dont recall Foreman making any prediction? Liston would get it done in two, IMO (64). Liston himself predicted, off-the-cuff, it'd last two. Frazier to stop Ali in twelve (71). Frazier predicted Ali would quit in ten.
Nostradamus ain't got nothing on Mannydamus and if he did it wouldn't do shit cuz Manny would see it coming.
