Kirkland blows, man. He has no defense and an even worse chin than Terry Norris. This woud be similar to Mosley's fight with Margarito, only Kirkland wouldn't last that long.
We'll get to see just how crappy Ishida really is when he takes on Williams. Depending how he performs in that fight, and especially if he wins, it's no longer fair to talk about him like he's a bum. The other possibility is that Kirkland really was ill-prepared for that fight, in which case we're underrating him. Either way, you have to favor Mosley in this fight. My take is that Kirkland was ill-prepared for the fight with Ishida, but that his loss demonstrates nontheless a severe chank in his armor which is a shit chin. That shit chin was further exposed by Angulo. And in my opinion, though you obviously have to give Kirkland credit for the come-back win, I think more than anything he was able to score it because of Angulo having punched himself out in a major way. It means I'd pick Angulo if there were a rematch. And I also don't expect Kirkland to go too far, though I'd be happy if he did because he's an exciting fighter with an exciting style. But his chin is just too shitty in my estimation.
The Ishida fight was somewhat of a fluke. HOWEVER..... even an in-shape Kirkland gets dusted by any version of Mosley thats not completely shot. Just a HUGE gap in class between the two. The Mosley of about 5-6 years ago could dust both Kirkland, and AngulSLOW on the same night.
