Benton's fatal flaw was stumbling in the biggest bouts.

If this is a 10 rounder (those things you used to have to engage in against world-class, dangerous guys back when you couldn't fit all of the good contenders, standing-room inside Rose Bowl) I'd love Benton's chances... his defensive skill, his precise and hard countering, his relaxed cool and just enough vicious competitiveness... I think he could really frustrate Bernard a lot and win a decision

But if they are fighting for a title, or a shot at a real title (a WORLD title, not one of 5 different alphabet straps signifying NOTHING) I don't trust the master strategist to put out enough to overcome Bernard's (young Bernard, the good one) dogged energy and ruthlessness.
