Yeah really, who cares. The first fight was decent, but there's nothing compelling about a rematch. I would pick Ortiz again though, Berto is not very good.
Cdogg is correct. They both blow. However, I'd probably go with Berto in the rematch. Berto was on his way to completely taking over the first fight, until he got careless and walked into that left hand. That completely turned the tide in Ortiz's favor for the rest of the fight. PLUS...... I dont see Ortiz ever fighting with that level of intensity again. In order to win, he has to fight like a man possesed at all times. Because with any type of distance, Berto's handspeed is the differance. For that reason..... I'd pick Berto in the rematch. But both are mediocre.
I think Ortiz beats Berto 3 out of 3 times. Ortiz has the better chin, better skills, better stamina and he doesn't suck nearly as much as Berto who lives off of one thing: The talent of speed. You take that from him and he beats nobody. Speed won't be enough to overcome Ortiz just like it wasn't last time. Right now all Berto knows how to do is fight. If he is to go farther in this sport he needs to learn how to box, which requires he get a new trainer.

Dammit. We don't get to see one of today's premiere mustard fighters. You'd think a rematch of 2011's fight of the year would've done good sales. And maybe that's the problem - the gap between expectations and actuals, and the fact the former dictates costs while the latter dictates earnings.
That is actually a shame. I started to look forward to the fight more, through no other reason than a lack of any other decent fights in the works.
Fucking pussy. In Ramonza's time when a boxer injured his bicep he fucking learned to punch with his calf.
