I haven't seen them. He's your classic naughties ear muff and range man. He's outside range, looking for an opportunity to come in and out with an attack. If his opponent's punching he's covering up until he's back out of range.

Napoles would be my first choice. If I were to use a sex metaphor I'd say you need a high tolerance for sexual tension. You gotta be willing to tease that pussy with your cock right there warm from the heat until you break her will and make her move. Then it starts.

Nah, that's harsh. Cotto is quite skilled, especially by today's standards. Rewatch the early rounds of the cheato fight and you'll see him bouncing off and away from the ropes, using excellent footwork and pinging counters and body shots. His stamina is shit, which is his major problem.

He's got good feet and he's a good puncher in combo, but he almost never punches with his opponent, which is specifically what I mean. He steps in from outside of range or punches in spurts on the inside between blocking shots. That gives Floyd all the time in the world, IMO. It's a missmatch.

The BEST model Cotto can try to follow is Glenn Johnson vs Roy, I reckon. He should study that fight to the letter. I really don't think he's got that sort of intensity (or chin) in him though.

Yeah, an entire ONE POUND lower than he weighed in his previous fight. Check the weights for Cotto vs Clottey fight. He weighed 146.

I will believe it when they weigh in. Floyd said so means nothing to me. He says a lot of shit.

Don't get me wrong, I can't see Cotto winning, at any weight. I read your previous post as some kind of Khan-type rip on Cotto is all, which wouldn't be fair. He's a lot better than that.

then he should have no problems making 145 for this fight!

its obvious he's the much smaller guy here

It is the same type rip, just a matter of degree. He can do his thing on the inside too and he picks his shots instead of mindlessly 'button mashing' like Khan but he basically has the same sort of failings. He can't integrate defense and offense effectively he doesn't have the skills.

Floyd is taller and rangier. Cotto is stockier and will most likely be the heavier man.

Apparently Mayweather was offered a 55-45 split with the winner taking the higher percentage PLUS all testing anytime except on the day of the fight for the Pacquaio fight...

Cotto never seemed to wobble Margarito in his stoppage but Pacquaio hurt him to the body and wobbled him a couple times in addition to destroying bone and eye.

As far as size, Cotto was killing himself to make 140. Did much better at 147 and has fought his last 3 fights at 154. I give kudos to Floyd for not making him come down for the fight, but he carries 154 well.

Size won't matter, but skillz will...

Cotto earned the payday but for him to win it just wont happen. Unless he lands a haymaker to knock him the FUCK out It's almost hopeless.

Not sure what that is in our numbers, but in the UK but it's 1/4 on Floyd here with 5/4 on both a stoppage and decision. The profit from the 1/4 can go on your method of victory and it's basically a free bet. No way Floyd doesnt win

I don't hate this fight. I won't buy it and likely won't watch it but it's good to see Cotto make some good money.
