I want to see an improved performance from Donaire this fight. His last performance against Narvaez was below par.

no one ever looks good against narvaez, especially considering the midget was unbeaten prior to moving up in weight to fight donaire.

REED's Expecting Donaire to B DOMINANT...If Vasquez is BALLSY, he Gets KO'ed Similar to How Donaire Waxed Raul Martinez...If Vasquez is CRAFTY, he Lasts a While but Still Gets STOPPED Mid to Late...

He is at least tough and has good cardio. I think he will give Nonito problems early in the fight.

Donaire was expected to totally dominate Narvaez and beat him up, as Narvaez is not in the same league as Nonito and hadn't faced an opponent with Nonito's skills. Donaire won comfortably, but it wasn't spectacular.

I want to see Nonito mix it up in this one, because against Narvaez he just head hunted and didn't mix it up at all. If Donaire wants to put a show on, he'll win this one in less than 5 rounds.

Navarez didn't come to win. He came to not get knocked out. How can anyone look good agaist a guy who's only there to survive?

I know what you mean. As I said though, I want to see Nonito mix it up in this next fight, which i'm sure he will. It won't be as boring as the Narvaez fight.

Everyone gave Donaire a pass that night, but he could've done a lot more. He had like 4-5" and probably 20 lb. of natural weight on the guy. A little thing called cutting off the ring would've done the trick, but Nonito didn't even attempt and his dumbass, overrated trainer didn't even think to give him such advice.

I'm a fan of both fighters here and really, really hate that they're fighting each other. That said, Vazquez couldn't block a punch even if there a wall in front of his opponent. I got Donaire by KO, but wouldn't mind seeing his wife and/or Robert Garcia get hit with a stool/chair/flying object somewhere along the way.

Agreed. It's not easy fighting a guy who doesn't want to fight, but there is absolutely no doubt Nonito could and should have done more. Obviously exacerbated by the gulf in size and talent.

He's an asshole, for starters. Not entirely his fault, but grown enough to be something else other than that, but chooses not to.

A grand total of none of his fighters are disciplined. Drama surrounds every one of his camps and fighters' fights. Still never owned up to that whole thing with Freddie Roach (as much of a dick as Rios is, at least he had the decency to come clean).

as far as owning up, didnt' Robert himself called Freddie to clear the air? Even Freddie said that everything was cool after that phone call.

I look at Robert as the most leveled headed in that gym. But that crowd that surrounds him goes all the way to the Vargas days. Those cholo type of guys like Rios.

But Garcia doesnt' come across like that to me neither those his kid brother Mikey.

I used to think that Donaire would not fit in that environment but apparently he loves it.

Donaire doesn't seem to fit into that crowd at all, it's bizarre.

Donaire was shit. How this guy is a top rated pfp fighter I do not know. He was crap tonight and only for the size advantage he probably would have gotten sparked out. Guy got his face kicked , round 7 I think, goes back to his corner and is reliably informed that his workrate is causing problems for Vazquez. Yeah. Sure.

Vazquez was a much smaller guy, and by the simple expedient of sticking the jab, being conservative and waiting for Donaires surface-speed to burn off, he not only negotiated the distance but had drawn level until the knockdown, which in terms of points, momentum and confidence, probably lost him the fight as much as anything Donaire had done before or after.

    Donaire was painfully average.
