Thoughts on the jew ? I really liked him in There is something about Mary, Meet the parents, Zoolander, and Tropic Thunder. But a lot of the stuff he's been in has been crap too. Especially envy, which is possibly the worst comedy ever.
He's in some enjoyable movies, but I wouldn't say he's necessarily funny. The funniest things in those movies were never (or rarely) because of him.
I think he's absolutely abysmal. Terrible comedy actor, he's not funny at all, and he has an annoying face. His father is awesome though, especially as Frank Costanza.
As long as Ben is acting crazy and doing absurdist stuff, I think he's hysterical. I like him less when he's serious.
Ben Stiller is very one dimensional. He's really good at playing a dumb loser. Really good at it. The problem is he accepts too many unfunny scripts, so I don't blame him for being unfunny because he doesn't write that shit I just blame him for taking everything his offered because he's a money hungry jew! No offense to any money hungry jews!

if you hate The Eagles as much as I do and love crazy and fucked-up comedy as much as I do, the above is fantastic
He was his funniest in Zoolander..... In Tropic Thunder Downey Jr. and the other black guy dominated, shit even Jack Black was funnier. He was funny in Dodgeball.....but that whole movie was hilarious. He was okay in the first 2 meet the parents.... Starsky & Hutch....average movie, but he had a few funny moments(the end when he dresses like a texan or cowboy or some shit..do it..do it..do it) Night At The Museum movie are not funny.....they should not be comedies.

Really like Stiller and I agree with Boss that usually when he's not funny it's because of the script. I think a lot of his comedy is just body language and facial expression. He's not LOL funny but he's funny. Another good flick I loved him in: The vastly underrated Mystery Men.
