The best possible MMA fight outside the UFC/Strikeforce looks like it might happen in April. Personally I think both guys are terribly overated and don't belong in any list of Top 10 LW's but it's still a cool match.

    Give me Alvarez via KO.

I hate Aoki. He is such a homo. If he were bigger he'd be a pro wrestler that's where he belongs.

Mike Chandler is for real. I'm a fan of his work.

Hes looked good in the fights I have seen of his. Alvarez just isn't as great as people think though.

I agree, Alvarez is going to be a waste of talent if he doesn't push himself and fight higher competition. He is really wasting his prime.

Man, that's hitting the nail on the head. Alvarez can be a top talent. Unfortunately, as a fighter, he has suffered from trying to improve himself by fighting guys not even in the Top 20 at the weight.

I hope he honors his 2 fights left with Bellator and then signs with the UFC. At the very least Alvarez is a fast-paced, exciting fighter.

Absolutely, it would really make for some exciting fights and I think he would do some damage too. Would be interesting to see if he drops to 155 or fights at 170, he's one of those guys who could do both IMO.

I definitively think that Alvarez, while not a fan personnaly, is a top lw. IMO, the Chandler loss was a fluke, he wins it 9 time out of 10.
