Both guys are around 6 ft 1, but I believe Williams has a 10 inch reach advantage here. Ishida is the underdog, but he was also against Kirkland, (we all know what happened in that one).

I think Ishida has a great shot. He needs to start fast and pressure Williams - back him up and be aggressive and he can knock the confidence out of him, (if Williams has any confidence left that is). Also, Williams' chin has been checked of late and Ishida, (despite only 9 ko's to his name), has the potential to ruffle his feathers. I'd like to see Ishida try some power shots early to try to put doubt in Williams' head. Williams can be quite wild and sloppy too, so Ishida can definitely counter him and get the eye catching shots in to impress the judges.

This could be a fun fight.

I'm going with Ishida via UD.

Plenty of intrigue in the matchup, but I honestly just don't give a shit about this fight. Leaning towards Williams but hedging my bets. Tam's not wrong in saying that Ishida's not much... but P-Will is a long way from proving that he's not spiraling towards shotsville

I hope Cloud-Campillo turns out to be fun.

Nobody really seems to know anything about Ishida. Even though Williams appears near done he's still the more proven commodity. Have to go with Tall Paul.

I thik Ishida will give a decent effort but will be just way in over his head. His record suggest he's at gate keeper level ( save the Kirkland upset ) and he's already old so it would be surprising if he managed to improved this much at this age

I agree with Fightbeats joint-most-eminent pundit {along with Yellow Mellow Jake Donovan}.......I'm not quite sure Nobohiro is a 1-hit-wonder, but he might have gotten to the right fighter at the right time. Paul Williams should not be at a styles disadvantage in this, he wins a Decision unless he is totally shot.

Realistically yeah, I expect Paul to win. He's shot-ish, but all things considered I think Ishida Vs Kirkland was somewhat flukey. Kirkland was probably undertrained and mentally unprepared, and Ishida had a pretty good style to exploit the version of Kirkland that showed.

I expect Paul to win a clear decision, but I do love an underdog, so I'll be rooting for Ishida San all the way :kidcool:

Williams Wins it on an MD, thats how I'd call it. Ishida probably lacks the variety and style to do a number on him.

Cloud may not survive this. He is getting bashed although on points it is close.

This reminds me of a poor man's Tyson/Douglas. Cloud will be lucky to survive. He needs a miracle shot.

Clearly tiger colors does not impede Campillo's vision (unlike Big George)

I think the fight is close. Hardly domination either way. Campillo's lost last three rounds imo.

Sorry Campillo. Flurry at the end doesn't win you the round.
