    First image of the Disney remake of "The Lone Ranger" with Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as the masked man. The already troubled production (has gone through several rewrites by several writers and its original budget was downsized) co-stars Helena Bonham Carter, William Fichter, Tom Wilkinson, Barry Pepper among others. Schedule to hit theaters May 31, 2012.

    The last successful Lone Ranger was from the 50's. Every remake has floped since. Why try again? I'm tired of seeing Johnny Depp in make-up. Geez, wasn't a REAL native american actor available to play Tonto? Anyway I hope this movie bombs miserably and sinks Disney.

    I saw that movie when I was a kid at the theatre. I don't remember much, but the movie was crud from what I do recall.

    That guy Klinton Spilbury had ONE acting credit in his whole career, and it was that movie which bombed at the box office. Apparently he couldn't get shot in Hollywood after that, went overseas, and then taught some acting classes. I can only imagine how much fun his students had when they found out he only got hired for one gig his entire career.

    "Class, let's look back to my one acting credit and see how the key to dramatic acting is delivery!" :laughing:
