I read yesterday that Dana says it's in the works for this summer. And again this is not boxing so basically it means it's on.
Frankie "The Rematch" Edgar. I like Edgar and all, but I'm tired of seeing him fight for the fucking title. Give someone else a damn shot already. Close fights don't always require a rematch!
I find it amazing that anyone would bemoan the idea of Frankie Edgar getting an immediate rematch after the rematches he's been forced to give over the last 4 fights. If anyone deserves a rematch, it's Edgar. And from a selfish standpoint, it was a good first fight and I expect the 2nd to be better. Bet on Frankie. I seriously doubt the lucky upkick lands again.
There was way more outrage over the decision in the first BJ fight and the second Maynard fight. This is the only site that the majority (all 3 of you) thinks Edgar won vs Henderson.
I see nothing wrong with Frankie getting a rematch. I really enjoyed the first fight. I can't believe anyone would complain about a second fight. I'm with Trp, watch Frankie to straight dominate this fight with standup.

What that poll doesnt show you is that 850 of those people were white belts and 188 actually had some understanding of MMA and were ranked posters.
Sounds good, the only thing I would say is that I have posted at sherdog. And for the most part, they hate the UFC. Will always go with Japanese fighters and Pride is heralded as the greatest org that has ever existed. With that said, I would be willing to put my next paycheck that poll reflects most of their views that Frankie is a UFC guy and Ben was the outsider from WEC. I generally don't know shit, but I think I got this one figured out. But anyway, I saw it for Frankie, you saw it for Ben. I like both guys. Glad to see a rematch.
Here's all the proof I need. Edgar is the early Vegas odds favorite in the rematch. The money knows!!
