    Here is another remake that failed. Sure it is a different story, but it was completely forgetable. Jason Momoa looks like Conan as described from the books even though that sissy skirt ruined it for me. The violence is too graphic in the sense that is gratuitous and not really to serve or advance the plot. The villain is too cartoonish and Rose Mcgowen looks like her former boyfriend, Marilyn Manson. The movie showed some promise at the beginning with a young Conan demostrating that he was natural born killer. After that the film is so-so and nothing memorable. IMO NO ONE yet has done true justice to the Robert E. Howard character. This movie did not even tried. 3/10

    Conan's a pretty cool character. I will not watch this movie, though.

    It's okay...worth a watch but is always going to be compared to the 1982 version.

    (a lot of people complained that the new Conan was too small - however, it is not based on the Marvel Comics version of the character!)

    The new conan looks far more like Conan in the comics than Arnold did. I may have to check it out. I loved Conan the barbarian (1982). Absolutely detested the sequel though.
