Interesting to view their styles, handspeeds, tactics side by side.

Pacquiao has faster hands no doubt (in combination) but his style is very ugly compared with Floyd's. Floyd is punish by "if you miss I'll make you pay" and Pacquiao is punish by attrition.

ok ok....we all know this already. But I enjoy looking at the comparison here...in order to try to imagine a fight between them and how it would look.

In that comparison video it's more evident than ever than Pacquiao's hands really are quite a bit faster than Floyd's, and that Floyd is much bigger.

I noticed this too, he's bigger than Mosley and Pac is clearly much smaller.

How can Floyd be so scared of such a tiny little man?

I'm not sure he looked bigger than Mosley, but certainly no smaller, he looked at least as big as Shane.

But yeah, Floyd is scared of a 5'5 Filipino guy who wears belts, tucks his shirt in, and pulls his trousers up really high. Floyd gangsta yo.

Pac looked much more impressive vs. Shane. Especially impressive when taking into account he is much smaller than Floyd.

What was really really surprising to me was the size with Shane and Floyd

I think most thought going in that Floyd was quite a bit smaller, in the ring Floyd looked just as strong as Shane and his punches actually looked sharper than Shane's

IMO Floyd is going to really really dominate PAC like PAC is a two bit hoe

Both guys taking advantage of a completely shot Mosley. Typical.
The biggest disappointment was DLH/Mayweather. Anybody could see that even a shot DLH with no footspeed and no jab could handle Mayweather. Imagine what prime DLH would've done to the little cunt.
Fraud F*ckweather got exposed as a little chicken sh*t who handpicks shot old guys or fights little guys at catch weights.

Hanzy... I'm being totally serious here...for once...

I don't get the hate you have toward Floyd...

He is just awesome and I don't see how any boxing fan can deny that?

DLH was a great fighter and much bigger than Floyd and Floyd just cruised with him and schooled him

IMO it showed that Floyd is on another level

Just like that to"me" Ray Leonard is on another level than DlH.. Floyd is too...

    The skill is impressive

I'm sure we both wish he would have fought PAC already but I can't say that I sfloyds fault.. I think Floyd would dominate him too...

Watching this for like the 3rd time.. It just more and more makes me think Floyd is much much better than PAC

The only thing I saw Oscar do against Floyd is lose clearly. He had some moments, but he was never gonna win the fight.

    Floyd just cruised past him.

Floyd is always beautifully positioned on his feet, able to cut between offense and defense easily, great balance.

Pac tends to lunge a bit on the way in (and out too), but his speed and angles are something else.

If Pac lunges in against Floyd he'll eat a lot of leather with Floyds big size/reach advantage.

    Very true..

Also Floyd's speed is different than pacs.

Pac is fast.. but it's kinda a flailing away type of fast.. like a amateur fighter..

Floyd is fast but it's his TIMING.. .he sees things fast and he counters perfectly.. he is not just flailing his arms around like a drunken Filipino trying to get some balut at the night market after drinking snake blood!

Yup. Floyd is precision timing reflex speed. Pac is volume engine speed.

Floyd thinks fast and reacts fast. Pacquiao is more pure physical speed.

Pac attacks and tries to make something happen.

Floyd reacts to what is happening.

Such a good contrast of styles, it's a damn shame the fight won't happen.

Floyd knows how to position himself so punches have shorter to travel and rolls/blocks only take slight adjustments. The last of the old school.

There's a simple formula for putting PBF in a shell: trade with him.

Usually, fighters respond to PBF's offense by covering up or moving away, in which case, all PBF has to do is punch around the arms, or before they're there.

But in the rare case a fighter responds to PBF's offense by throwing punches of his own, PBF retreats into his shell. This isn't necessarily a formula for victory, because PBF can win from inside his shell. We've seen him do it. But it is a good jump-off point towards defeating him. And it's why ODH made PBF look far from invincible, and showed that a top fighter, even one removed from his prime, who isn't at a significant size disadvantage, can readily control the pace and action against PBF.

All bets are off on this, of course, when PBF choose featherweights as his opponents (like JMM). And even in that case, PBF wasn't comfortable trading, and ended up coasting.
