Pascal vs Cloud on Showtime

Pretty interesting matchup. Both guys are flawed as Hell, and this one really could go either way.

I could see Pascal beating Cloud with his speed for awhile, then running outta gas and getting stopped late.

Pascal has the 2nd most shitty stamina in the sport behind Taylor.

 

Good fight, look forward to it, not sure about how good either guy is, but this is a very welcome distraction from the nonsense that is Hopkins vs Dawson.

 

Yeah, don't think either guy is really that good. I guess I'll go with Cloud here, but with no confidence.

 

Cloud is a joke, he should be fighting on an undercard somewhere after his last fight. Poor Campillo, they robbed the hell out of that guy.

 

Cloud is very limited and flawed. Very reminiscent of Jeff Lacy. And Campillo was indeed robbed blind. A lot of it had to due with Campillo being a southpaw. A tall southpaw at that. Cloud clearly has no idea how to fight him. Dawson would beat the living shit outta Cloud.

But Pascal despite his good handspeed is wild, has a shitty defense, crap stamina, and isn't that tall. Therefore its a better matchup for Cloud than Campillo was.

This is a 50-50 fight.

Obviously Pascal and his people think they can beat Cloud, because they wanted NO part of Ismayl Sillakh.

 

Very true, you can't trust Pascal's chin either. I remember he and Edison Miranda were supposed to fight, they fought on the same card and Miranda got a nice KO and Pascal got hurt bad a couple of times by Omar Pittman. They obviously didn't fight, and it's because Pascal got spooked.

 

Yeah. If forced to pick, I think Cloud stops him late while behind on the cards.

Cloud if nothing else can crack. People forget that he BADLY hurt Glen Johnson twice. I've never seen Johnson hurt like that before.

So he can crack Pascal's chin.

 

I just hope Pascal whoops him. I don't like it when guys get more paydays on BS decisions. He should be fighting on the undercard of Pascal vs Campillo.

 

Pascal got a gift too. He got a gift when the Dawson fight went to the cards, because Chad was on his way to stopping him.

 

That's not as bad as the Campillo fight though.

Cloud will win by tko late. Pascal has the stamina of a guy who did 25 years in solitary who gets released into the arms of an already pre-paid gorgeous hooker. The French Toad might even be ahead, but since he blows his wad in 5 rounds he will spend the next 7 rounds trying to stay conscious. Pascal can't fight a lick.

 

What horseshit. Dawson got humiliated. Dawson was on his way to a lopsided decision loss.

 

Cloud is TOUGH, CONDITIONED & Not Much Else...

If Pascal Maintains Focus & (More Importantly) DISTANCE, he Could Win this Fight Rather Easily...Unfortunately, Pascal is about as Reliable as Zab Judah is....2 Guys w/Elite Level TALENT, that U'd B an Utter FOOL to Ever Wager on...

In all honesty these two guys are B level fighters and I don't see them improving beyond that.
